Perfect!
I bought the Kershaw Shuffle (bead blasted finish with black scales) for use as a light duty EDC. First impressions: small and light, smaller that what I have been carrying. Looks well made. Fit and finish are excellent, same with ergonomics. First thing I did was try out the bottle opener. Mine works fine. I have also used the screwdriver to pry open a small paint can. No problem. Yes, the blade opens stiff. I consider this a safety feature. I wouldn''t want that short little pointy blade opening up in my pocket. I have no problem opening it one handed with my thumb. The liner lock locks the blade solid. Many reviews mentioned that third finger groove on the blade, and how close proximity to the business end made them nervous. For most routine chores, opening boxes, cutting string, etc., I use the two finger grooves on the handle. I still have a grip that allows me good control of the blade. I like having the option of using that third finger groove when I need to choke up on the blade for more precise work. Great design feature! I routinely re-bevel, sharpen, and strop new blades. This one took a fine edge. Only had it a week, so I can't yet say how it holds an edge. I also watch the screws on new knives in case they loosen up. Still tight after a week. I will give them a dab of loctite if needed. The pocket clip was really tight. I gently pulled it open, and now it rides easily over the pocket lip of my jeans. Most times it rides in the bottom of my pocket. It's light enough that I hardly notice it. I would not recommend this knife to a novice. Someonw who has carried a knife for a while will appreciate its more subtle features. After I sharpened and tuned it to my liking, its damn near perfect! I bought a second one for variety (teal scales with stonewash finish). Update: Feb. 2017. I have two of these that I rotate out with a comparable MTECH. Still love these little knives for everyday carry. The first two times I used the bottle opener, it opened first try. Must have been beginners luck, because it usually takes 2 or 3 attempts.

The perfect "girlfriend knife"
The perfect "girlfriend knife". If you're like me and have trouble convincing your girlfriend that she needs to carry a pocketknife if she wants to do stuff like backpacking Isle Royale, then buy her a shuffle. I gave a purple one to my girlfriend and a teal one to my mom (who is also a backpacking-interested woman who doesn't normally think much of pocketknives) and both of their reactions were the same: whoa, cool! its so CUTE, which it most definitely is, but also seems to be a perfectly decent pocketknife. The blade, pivot, etc all seem sturdy, it's easy to grip. The bottle opener is maybe slightly gimmicky but hey, why not? It's not like it makes the knife bulkier or reduces functionality in any way, and beer drinking ladies (or gents, not saying this knife is *only* for ladies, just that it seems to appeal greatly to them) will probably get plenty of use out of it. My girlfriend was super bummed when she thought she had lost hers while backpacking in the badlands. I told her not to sweat it, because at under $20 this is also a perfect knife for those who are... shall we say: challenged in the art of keeping track of their stuff? (she found it attached to her pack a bit later). A $400 flawlessly crafted knife, this is not, but it's excellent for those who want something that doesn't appear "weapon-y" and don't want to lose any sleep if they drop it in a bison-pie.

Decent
Decent knife. It's actually a little bit larger than I expected, though many of the other reviews said the opposite. It's made with good build quality and good materials. As to be expected with a Kershaw knife, the blade is plenty sharp. It fits nicely in the hand, and is small enough to never be in the way clipped either onto the inside or outside of your pocket. The issues I've had with it have been that it's a bit more difficult to open than I usually prefer and usually requires two hands, and is even more difficult to close as the lock is quite tight. What normally is the best thing about Kershaw is that they have such perfect spring assist knives that open easily and quickly (while still safely and securely) while it usually costs 5X as much from any other company to achieve that. This particular knife does not have that spring assist, and though that certainly isn't a loss, it is unfortunate and if you're buying because it's a Kershaw, you should keep that in mind. In short, decent knife, worth the money and gets the job done, but nothing special. (Side note, the keychain attachment at the base could double as both a glass breaker and a non-lethal defense means)

Kershaw Quality and fun color....super sharp, not toy
I love this knife. I bought it because of it color. It matches my purse. It has a place to attach key ring if you'd like. I attached a lanyard. The color matched my purse. I carry it in there and you'd be surprised how often Aaus girls can use a knife to cut threads, box tops, open mail, sluce apple pieces etc....its VERY STURDY....reasonable price too. Quality knife for sure.

An amazing all-in-one utility tool
It was sharp out of the box and it is very easy to sharpen later when needed. The heavy duty screwdriver/pry tool on the end of the knife comes in super handy. I honestly think I use screwdriver more than the knife blade, it is great for opening paint cans. These knives are made to las a lifetime, maybe even as hand-me-downs to the next generation and are worth every penny they cost.
