Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundation (Neutral 2)

I used Everyday Minerals powder foundation for years before it was recently discontinued. Finding an acceptable mineral powder foundation has been tough; every one I’ve tried makes me itch, even the ones branded as safe for sensitive skin. I find the Bare Minerals shades to be very orange-y. After much research and trial and error, I finally found this product and decided to give it a try. I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised! The texture is so interesting; totally a powder, but so silky it ALMOST feels a little creamy. Coverage is great and the shade neutral 2 is extremely natural without any dominating undertone. I do feel the overall condition of my skin is improved since using the product for over a month now.

Love this product. The powdered make up really covers nicely and is very light on the skin.

I've purchased this pressed powder at least couple of times and I think it performs well for me when it comes to coverage, reducing shine, and giving an overall matte-ifying effect. I bought this because I have sensitive skin and and am sensitive to smells. This has no fragrance and doesn't irritate my skin. The price is also decent compared to other low tox pressed powders. The only downside is that its rated as a 3 on the EWG site, which isn't the worst but there's room for improvement.

This is what I have been looking for, the perfect flawless color for my face! I like wearing a somewhat natural color powder and this is the perfect shade for me! It goes on smooth and not clumpy in patches. Hides my age spots and doesn’t get oily after a couple hours. Stays on until I remove it by washing my face. Packaged nicely and arrived as stated date! And…… It wasn’t broken in many pieces like some others were of a different brand! Well worth the price and I will buy again!

This has got to be the best mineral makeup foundation powder I have tried yet. I have tried several brands of mineral makeup and this one outlasts and outperforms them all. After applying a light moisturizer (I use Aubrey Organics Revitalizing Moisturizer for dry skin), I wait a couple of minutes and then lightly dust this powder on with a flat makeup brush. It leaves a lovely finish to the skin...it looks very natural, not made-up, and lasts basically all day at work...hardly any need for touch-up. I have not encountered any other mineral makeup that performs like this one. It is also handy because it comes in a compact (no loose powder)...easy to toss in your purse. The only drawback is that I wish there was a bit more in the compact...mine lasts about a month. Also, I try to watch when they're on sale...they're usually around $28 but I have gotten them at Sprouts for 25% off when they have their health and body care product extravaganza sales (time to stock up!). As a natural makeup product, I highly recommend this.

I have used this product happily and sucessfully for many years. I recently purchased it again and it was a very different experience. Now the powder has a substantial unpleasant smell, where a fragrance was only barely detectable before. The grit of the powder is now more grainy, not fine and smooth the way it used to be. It hurts my skin and irritates my upper respiratory system, causing a runny nose and a cough. I know I am more ssnsitive than most people, but I feel I owe it to others to share my experience. For me, the current iteration of the product rates only one star. I will need to throw it away and try to find another company that sells a truly hypoallergenic, non-toxic face powder.

This pressed powder is the perfect complement to my Mineral Fusion foundation make-up. It takes the shine out of the foundation and gives an elegant matte look I really like. It also helps cover up any blemish I might have, I only buy Mineral Fusion make- up these days, because it has no harmful ingredients.

I have reached the end of this makeup, to the point where I am putting my brush in the sides trying to use all of it up before I order more. The coverage is great and seems to stay for a good amount of the day (depending on how much coverage you like, you may have to reapply). I have decent skin that tends to get a little bit of redness at times, but not a lot of blemishes. This covers the redness very well and does a decent job of covering blemishes. I would say to make sure to moisturize or apply a primer before using, because if not you will have that dry, flaking looking areas, or caking in oily areas. This color was a little too light or yellow, so I'll be going with a slightly darker color next time. If it comes out a little too light, just apply some bronzer and blush and you're good to go.

This is my go to powder. It's light, doesn't aggravate sensitive skin. I use it as is over sunscreen, or as a finishing powder for IT foundation. Works great. Lasts all day. Really wish the company would consider branching out into Canada.

This product is amazing! instead of like other foundations that can cause blemishes this one actually heals and prevents and makes my skin look beautiful. I am getting older (42) and find this product is aging well with my skin, does not make my lines more noticeable, etc.

Love this foundation. I don’t wear or spend a huge effort on makeup so I am not an expert however this light to medium coverage works just fine to even my skin tone. I am sure if you needed more coverage, this would also be buildable. Would have given 5 stars however it is expensive and it would seem the size of the compact (amount of product) is smaller than others. Trying to find the color match is challenging online so just make sure you can return if needed. No issues with the seller, product arrived timely!
