I couldn’t be happier with the company & the product! The self-adhesive, various-sized precut pieces allowed for easy installation with less cuts, even though my wall has many angles. I received the product quickly. When I had inspected the pieces, I decided I wanted a few more darker/warmer pieces to blend in with my floors. My phone call was politely & professionally received, & the customer service was excellent! I emailed them a couple pictures of the colored pieces I was looking for, & they sent me about a dozen more perfectly-toned pieces free of charge! A family member helped me plan the layout & installed with just a handsaw in less than 5 hours. We made more cuts than needed probably just to give it a nicer flow with the specific pieces I wanted dispersed throughout. The wood is real and beautiful, yet thin & super easy to install - no mess of glue - just peel & stick! I absolutely love my new Coastal White accent wall & it’s the first thing guests notice when they walk into the foyer. I really liked the overall concept, but I went with the sample set before I forked out money for wall planks to do my project. I have an old mountain house that I am redoing. I had removed the old kitchen cabinets that had been originally installed. Removing the old cabinets left a fair amount of wall damage. In the places I replaced the old cabinets with new ones the repair of the walls didn't have to be optimal since the new cabinets completely covered any areas that were a bit subpar. However, along one entire wall that I wanted to now leave bare remained a problem. The wall either needed to be replaced or covered. Given that the house is up in the mountains, I decided to be a bit daring in my redoing the wall and decided to go a bit non-traditional. As a result I was looking for alternatives. It's a large wall area and very noticeable as soon as you enter the house. I came across these reclaimed wall planks and they looked good - at least on the web. I love the fact that they offered this sample set as it provided me the opportunity to check things out more closely. The sample set includes a nice variety of widths, woods and color swatches. I was really considering to use this for my wall transformation, but I decided not to because the swatch I received had a small center curvature to each of the boards in the set. This is probably not noticeable to most, but it was noticeable to me so I didn't pursue given the area I needed to cover. Also, the durability was less than what I needed for the area to be covered. Despite my reservations for my wall project, I will probably use this for a smaller bathroom project where the slight board curvature will be less noticeable to me. The wood samples themselves are gorgeous and application is very simple and something that is very easy to use and install.

Although the price was an ouch and I thought it would cover more area I was pleased with this. They are light, smooth,easy to cut, stick well, and durable. The color was beautiful and perfect with the light blue I had painted on the rest of the wall.

I've had these type of boards up for a few years and lately the tape has been separating from the board and I ended up nailing the boards to prevent them from popping off. Frustrated, I decided to take it all down. Tried a few methods of removal and found that steam is the most effective. First try to pry a board off but leave as much tape on the wall as possible. With a steamer, concentrate on an area in the middle of the strip until you see an area that is starting to lift away from the wall. Grab a loose section and start carefully removing the tape. Point the steamer tip between the wall & tape as you pull and the whole piece should lift up as you pull. By using this method, about 80-90% comes off. When steaming, start on the top of the wall as the moisture that accumulates will help the lower boards/tape loosen.

This wood is fairly thin, but doesn't feel like it once installed. It feels and looks like good quality wood. We used a saw to cut the pieces - cutting a line and snapping will not work. Cutting the adhesive side made for a smoother cut as opposed to the wood side. We laid all the pieces out on the floor first to get the pattern we were looking for. A J-roller is a must to get them to stick well. We bought 30sq ft worth of the 3" pieces and installed on a painted/orange peel textured wall.

We used this as a kitchen backsplash. It was extremely easy to install. We have a small jigsaw that we had never used before and used it to trim the wood as needed. The adhesive is really strong and since the wood is cut to a few different lengths there are was no hassle to stagger the boards. The wood smells amazingly fresh like pine when it comes out of the package (not like typical lumber at all). It looks good on our wall and we finished it in an evening. We have next to no DIY experience. The boards stick! Be sure of where you want to position them before you stick it because you will likely have to destroy the board to remove it. In our selection, Coastal White, the wood colors vary from fairly white to a light natural wood to a speckled gray, which we like.
