I would give it 10 stars! I have tried so many brushes on my shepherd’s and no one worked half as well as this one! It’s so satisfying to get piles of hair off them! I tried it on the cat and he loved it and I got tons of hair off him too! If you’re considering buying just do it! It’s worth every penny!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars I recently visited North Carolina and a friend had one of these brushes for their dog. After seeing how well it worked, I came home and immediately bought one for my American Akita—and I am so glad I did! After just one day of using it, I noticed a huge difference. I had several large chunks of loose hair removed, and there was noticeably less fur around my house. The brush glides through his thick coat easily, even getting through small tangles and mats if he hasn’t been brushed in a while. What I love most is that it doesn’t seem to pull or tug at his hair. My Akita actually enjoys being brushed with it, and I can tell he feels better afterward by the way he acts. His coat looks healthier, feels softer, and he’s much more comfortable. If you have a dog with a thick coat or heavy shedding, I highly recommend this brush. It’s been one of the best grooming purchases I’ve made, and I think every dog owner should have one! 🐾❤️

Ive used this brush for years and have bought multiple. My dogs have sensitive skin and it is the least irritating to their skin and does a really good job at deshedding. The self-cleaning button does get stuck occasionally so in my experience this feature may as well not be there - I think if they changed this piece to be metal instead of plastic it wouldn't catch and would work much better!

Works so well removing my dog’s undercoat and impacted fur. The button sticks a little but that could just be the brush I have. Super easy to clean and helps with shedding. I have an Aussie husky mix so this helps to do multiple times a week during the summer.

I have two Border Collies that shed like crazy. I have to vacuum or swiffer every two days and I get enough hair to make a puppy. One of my Border Collies hates being brushed and flinches every time we touch her with any brush. I was weary about buying another brush to try. So it was a beautiful day out on the deck and I thought, here we go. The touchy border collie first, and she sat there like she was getting a massage. I have never been able to brush her as long as I did this time. Boy did I get a lot of hair off. Now for the second border collie, which is a curly hair, rare coat. She is a mush and loves to be brushed. With this brush, she would not let me stop. She wanted to be brushed everywhere. She fell asleep while I was brushing her. This brush is amazing and I am going to order a backup. If you have a long-haired collie, this brush will work for you if you follow the instructions.

Tried them all! Nothing worked as good as the Furminator! The best investment. Don't waste money on other products. My Lab loves being brushed with this as it pulls all the undercoat fur out and lightly scratches his back too. Quick push button release. I recommend.

I was sceptical , I mean very sceptical, was worried about my cat fur, but it’s so gentle as long as you don’t press hard, it runs SMOOTHLY doesn’t damage the coat (in-spite of looking sharp and “intimidating “), and removes tons of loose fur. Didn’t hurt my cat at all, and you know you removed all the undercoat when you feel some resistance. I tried on my hair first to see if it hurts or cut it😅😅😅. But it ran smoothly and didn’t hurt. I used to have a cheap one from another brand, it damaged and cut the outer layer it was like a razor blade. I omitted one star cause I only used it once, 10 minutes ago, so I can’t say whether it’s working or not. Just be careful with the whiskers it pulled and cut one, wasn’t paying attention.

This is such a handy tool, I use it most days to reduce fur in the house as I’m allergic and it’s made a big difference to my health
