Hello. Chihuahua here. I have been asked to review my Tomkas sling, and frankly, it's about time someone consulted the actual passenger. When I was a tiny baby, this thing was MAGNIFICENT. I climbed in, snuggled against my human, stuck my little head out, and was transported everywhere like the tiny Mexican royalty I obviously am. I didn't have to walk. People admired me. My human carried all 4–6 pounds of my magnificence while I supervised. Five stars. No notes. Then I reached about 7 pounds. My human claims I "outgrew it." I prefer to say the sling failed to grow with me. The listing says it's for dogs up to 10 pounds, but as a Chihuahua with firsthand experience, I'm going to respectfully raise one tiny paw and disagree. At around 7 pounds, things started getting a little... snug. Could I technically get in there? Perhaps. Could I lounge luxuriously with the personal space to which I have become accustomed? Absolutely not. And before anyone suggests that I need to lose weight, I would like the record to reflect that I am not overweight. I am substantial. The sling itself is soft, comfortable, convenient, and was wonderful when I was smaller. I loved being carried around in it, mostly because walking is something humans invented and I see no reason to encourage them. So I highly recommend this for very small dogs and Chihuahua babies, but I wouldn't count on that 10-pound claim if your dog enjoys having room for things like ribs. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for my puppy days. 🐾 Chihuahua Pro Tip: Buy it while you're tiny, enjoy being carried everywhere, and when you hit 7 pounds, demand an upgrade. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've been typing for almost three minutes and require a snack.

Amazing dog sling carrier. The dog carrier is very roomy, well made, as described according to the description and size. I'm able to convert inside out. It has nice round buttons with nice stitched seams with a deep pocket to hold personal items . Very easy to put doggy inside carrier. Doesn't put stress on my shoulder while carrying my doggy. Very useful when sitting at computer and your doggy wants to be close to you while you are working or doing chores or vet appointments. I'm very happy with my purchase. A+ dog sling carrier!

Super deep so depending on the size. Our girl loves it. The straps are wide and the whole design is soft and comfy. Easy to wear. I’m afraid to hook her collar she should jump (I know right?!?) and choke herself. Love this travel method- size varies but four starts as I understand Thai has to be a huge challenge for the small 5lb-15lb group of babies.

It’s not quite what I expected. My dachshund isn’t really comfortable in it and it’s bigger than I expected! He’s only a few pounds. And it’s also no way to adjust the bag either.

I bought a size medium, my Yorkie is 7.5 lbs and he fits wonderfully! He absolutely loves being carried in it . I love that the strap is very adjustable and comfortable for me!

I ordered the Small for my 6‑lb chihuahua, and it’s perfect for tiny companions. The moment I put the sling over my shoulder, he comes running with his tail wagging, ready to climb inside. He settles right in and absolutely loves his Tomkas sling. It is a little deep for such a small dog, so I added a small memory‑foam pillow to boost him up, and now it’s ideal. Highly recommended for anyone with a tiny pup who loves to be close.

Well made good fabric and strong. Shoulder belt is very confortable. Ideal when my little dog does not want to walk anymore or when I go shopping with her. I just love it. I bought 2. One for my 5 pound and one for my 10 pound pets. Yes, I use one on each shoulder.
