No, this fan need's to be plugged into a standard 110 outlet.

Anyone running one of these on a plug-in wifi switch?

I have mine on a remote switch set up. It should be fine on a WiFi as well.

Does it come with wall mounting bracket?

It comes with bracket but no hardware to mount with.

Why does the user manual say "Not for industrial applications"?

Who knows? It is probably because it is not rated for environments where explosive gases may be present. Definitely not water resistant or damp resistant.
