Came back for a second one!
We bought the previous one for a vacation. This size is the perfect 7-13 year old size. It’s bigger than a child but a touch smaller than a full adult size. Works perfect for our pre-teen or myself (female).Now it’s needed as a school bag.It can fit chrome book, folders, clarinet case, & lunch box at the SAME time as long as you pack biggest to smallest. Impressed with what it holds. As with all bags like this … I have son lift with the back pack handle & not the roller extender handle. Following this rule & we are still using the first backpack 5 months into the school year.

Dimensions Misleading :(
We received it several days ago, but since then it's been sitting in a corner. (sigh)We needed a rollerbag for my 6 year old daughter as the weight of her schoolbooks were a struggle for her to carry everyday.We bought THIS bag because the size was perfect! 9"x18"x13"....what we thought was 13" HIGH!We were so upset when the bag arrived to see that there's no way it will fit under her desk & she may not be able to use it for a few YEARS because of its height.Since their desks are shorter than 17", bags which are too tall would not be able to fit under & would have to be left in the narrow passageways. (a hazard for other kids & teachers; so they do not allow)Now we have a very pretty bookbag that she can neither use nor exchange or return since we do not live in the US; the shipping charges are too high - it would be like purchasing another bag.

Absolute Lifesaver!
My youngest just started middle school and has to carry WAY TO MUCH stuff. They have done away with lockers, so everything has to be kept with them all day. He was experiencing horrible back pain so we looked for a rolling backpack to preserve his spine. I'm really glad I settled on this one. It has plenty of room inside to organize all his supplies, books, laptop, lunch, and even his jacket. It holds two large water bottles with no problem. The handle adjusts to two heights easily and the wheels are very smooth and quiet. I was a little wary after some of the reviews I saw, but after 5 months, it's still going strong (with the exception of one small superficial tear in the main compartment lining). Overall, he's very happy and so am I. Worth every penny.

Not bad
Much smaller than expected. I suppose that is partly my fault. It works ok but I'll probably need a replacement.
