Very Handy for antique and estate sales
I purchased this to help me identify Vaseline glass and other kinds of phosphorescent glassware. It works incredibly well for that purpose and causes a very visible glow. The only thing I don't like about the flashlight is that it alternates between the two wavelengths by clicking the same button; there aren't individual buttons or a switch to keep it on a particular wavelength. But since there are only two options in addition to being off, it's not that big of a deal. Especially considering how inexpensive the flashlight is. It feels pretty durable in the hand. I've dropped it multiple times and I haven't managed to damage the casing or the lens. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase

Decent Little UV Light

Great for finding old dry stains on light carpets, walls. Less effective on dark, patterned rugs.
At first, I didn't think it was much help. I tried it on dark, patterned rugs. But I gave it another shot and it is definitely great. It is easiest to see old dry pet stains on light carpets in the dark. My beige carpet looked purple except where the old dry stains were. They were easy to see. On dark, multicolored, patterned rugs it was difficult, I turned them over because the bottom was a lighter color. Found the spots on the backside, treated and flipped them and found the spot on the top and treated them. It is alot of work on dark carpets and I'm positive it will take me multiple treatments. (which I'm comparing as well) Ultimately, the best is to treat petstains immediately with enzymatic cleaner. But thats not always possible. I didnt want to destroy the color of my new dark rugs, hadn't spot tested cleaners and sometimes you don't find or know where the pet has been immediately. For old dry stains on light carpets. its excellent! More difficult on dark carpets.

Doesn’t do dual 365/395 in stock configuration.
I wanted a dual 365nm and 395nm light. The 395 so I could see the light. The 365 so that I could see the fuel leaks. It should (and does not) go off/365/395/dual To fix I Soldered the two diode positives together. Now it works as I wanted.
