Instant Slime

So I have a debilitating muscle damaging illness called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and I've been in a wheelchair since 1991. When you are in a wheelchair most of your life there are certain things that you don't get to experience. One of those things is being able to feel sand, grass, or mud between your toes. I found this instant mud while I was looking for another product I use to help with circulation and nerve damage called Gel-Ohh which is normally used in a nail salon for Jelly Pedicures. I saw this and had to try it! I haven't been able to feel the ground beneath my feet since the early 90s. I got the instant mud yesterday and today I got to try it out. My friend helped me fill up a 3 gallon tub with the water and I added about 1/5 of the powder to make a thick but soft mud that kinda looked spongy. My friend helped me remove my shoes, socks, and the leg braces and I put my feet in. I was not disappointed! It really did feel like mud from a river or marsh. I was able to feel it between my toes which was amazing and it felt really nice around my feet especially with the warm water. I'm so glad I got to experience this for the first time in a while even though it isn't real mud but it definitely felt like it. The clean up was a little challenging I definitely would recommend doing this outside(of course) and not on a deck like we did. My friends kids wanted to play with it too and ended up covered in head to toe in it and it was everywhere. On their clothing, on the deck, the side of the house, even on the roof lol. But they were having fun! It washes of pretty easily with a hose. I would definitely recommend a this stuff if you want to do something fun and make a mess.

This slime really does make 25 gallons! I wish I had instructions on how much to use depending on how much you need to make because I made way too much! I put just a little bit, maybe an eighth of a cup into a gallon of water and the slime was still super thick, to thin it out I added more water and I somehow ended up with about 3 gallons of slime! And I know that it does say that it’s easy to clean but it does seem to leave a bit of staining on your hands and clothes. We use this for a gender reveal and thankfully I was able to scrub it out with a hard bristle before the expected parents were able to see. Overall it is a great value for money and can provide a lot of fun for people but the slime does get quite a bit messy and stays around for a long time, especially in the dirt.

My wife used this for a fundraising even for school. It worked out really well and had the consistency of applesauce once she added enough water. There was a slight blue tint left on her skin after but more so because she used her hand to mix it as suggested. It washed off well and didn’t really smell. There was a lot of powder left over so they can use it to raise money this next school year. Good value for your money and the students loved it. She picked blue because that was her school color.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this product as an incentive for students. The product was very easy to make at school, easy to shoot out of the water shooter found at the store, and enjoyable for everyone involved! It was also extremely easy to clean up and all clothes worn during the event washed up perfectly! It did not stain anything! You can make the slime thicker or thinner which is also a nice feature. Overall a great experience! We will definitely be buying this product again!

Bought this several years ago to use as a school reward to slime our School Respurce officer. We have been able to use it every year and a little bit goes a long way! Simple to make- just add water! Can be thick or a thinner consistency based on how much water you put in. Highly recommend!

In one description it states: “Instant slime is Eco-Friendly. Simply hose it into the grass or dilute it with extra water and wash it down a drain.” This is NOT true. I filled a baby pool with this slime on Halloween, afterwards we dumped it out and hosed it’ll the lawn down for 30 minutes and it never went away. So we left it in hopes the sun/rain might do the job. 2 months later we still have a slime pit in our front yard. This weekend we are planning to shovel it into garbage bags because me we have no other ideas on how to get rid of this slime. Kids had a blast on Halloween, but I will never buy this again. The product works, so if you buy it just have a clean up plan ready, because it does NOT “wash away” into the ground.

This is the BEST slime! We used it for an end of the year Science incentive for our 5th graders at school, and it was amazing! It makes a lot so less is more.

Unfortunately it is not the same as slime. It is similar to "Gelli baff" ie a textured mush, not slime.

We used two boxes of this to fill a slime pool for an obstacle course and it was a huge hit! The slime is nice and thick. It comes off easily with water and it didn’t stain anyone’s bathing suits or the inflatable pool it was in. We dumped it out on the grass when we were done and it washed away easily with a hose and didn’t kill the grass. Will totally buy again!! So fun!

So much fun. Easy to use. Makes a lot of slime. It says it doesn’t stain but I didn’t think it actually wouldn’t - however it does not stain at all . I was very surprised and happy with this purchase.
