Tramontina Signature Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 5-Quart Dutch Oven Pot

I love these. No joke - I'm wondering why I've 'suffered' for so long with anything but triple-ply, all clad cookware? Heavy duty, excellent quality, lifetime warranty, easy clean up, and even heat distribution all at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE! What's a cook not to like? From Amazon, I've only purchased this dutch oven style stockpot, but from a local "Mom & Pop" high-end cookware kitchen store, I've purchased 2 sauce pots, and 3 frying pans with lids all in the past 2 months. Wow- what a difference from the old Revere Ware (thin steel with copper bottoms) that was my parents set - the one I've been using for over 30 years. These tri-ply, fully clad cookware pieces from Tramontina are a JOY to use! They heat up QUICKLY and the construction is highly conducive to very EVEN heating of the entire pan/pot. I had to get used to that, hence I almost burned a few things! This cookware gets very hot, more so than I had ever noticed with my old wares. This construction makes for the quicker cooking of foods by way of even heat distribution, and I feel that you can achieve better cooking techniques and a higher quality of the dishes you prepare because of it. I was nervous that the stainless steel would be difficult to clean, but no... I'm amazed at how well these clean up if you soak them for a bit. Steel wool soap pads and some polishing agents (like Barkeeper's Friend, for instance), will do the trick if you're dealing with the removal of some stubborn, lingering charred food.

I’ve built up a collection of eight Tramontina pots and pans and I can say they’ve all performed really well. If you’re using All Clad as benchmark I this stainless cookware on equal ground. I cook a lot and use them every day. Easy to maintain and I never have trouble with hot spots or scorching.

Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Cooks well with even heat distribution. It’s easy to clean with Barkeeper’s Friend.

Very good quality tri ply pot. I bought this to replace another 5 qt pot. I saw some reviews that said the edges were sharp. The edges on top, although not rolled over are not sharp. Heats efficiently like tri ply is supposed to. Pot is just as expected. I don't need 5 or 7 ply cookware. These 3 ply pots work for me. They are far superior to the disc bottom pots that I used years ago.

This is an excellent pot for the price point we got it at. It cleans well and has really held up. Highly recommend!

This is a quality piece of cookware. Heavy botton, decent handles, and a beautiful finish. Even the lid exudes quality. I replaced an anodized pot of similar size with this one and aside from needing to hand wash it for best results, I'm really liking this one and use it often.

Update: Second use and wash it in the dishwasher , turns to black and blue , I’ll ask for return Can’t believe 👎👎 First time use, I’m really disappointed, all what I did I just boiled chicken for 45 minutes.

It’s a real handy pot. Light, yet heats well and easy to clean. My only issue is the size advertised. This holds just above 4 quarts. I poured in water from a 2 quart pitcher, twice. There’s no way it could handle another quart.

Replacing an excellent 25 year old Lagostina with copper bottom. The stainless plate covering the copper finally degraded and the pot needed to be replaced. Thus the need for a tri-ply pot so this never happens again. Used mainly for boiling water for pasta and heats the water faster than my other still good Lagostina. Handles are cooler also. Thumbs up.

Induction compatible, heavy duty, easy to clean, tight fitting lid....you'll love it. You deserve it. Buy it.
