Camptrace Sun Hats for Women Men with Neck Flap UV Protection Wide Shade

the hat on the left just came today uncreased in a fitted flat box. the hat on the right I have had since October 2023 and have used every summer day swimming in the ocean. the hat got very wet and dried quickly. I have spot cleaned this hat only as it never stained. I ordered a spare one in case they discontinue this hat which to me is the best on the market. I did not wear sunblock and got no sun on my face thanks to this hat which has made my summer for me. I initially ordered this hat because it had no metal parts or grommets which have rusted on all my other hats and ruined them. very lightweight and travels well in the bottom of my suitcase. also very cool and roomy so I can wear a bun instead of a ponytail if I want. love this hat 💞

The back of my neck was getting weird when I realized it was because none of my sun hats protected by neck. Seems simple but apparently many of us forget to protect our neck. This is lightweight and foldable, and has a string to keep the hat from blowing off on a windy day. You won't make a fashion statement but you will protect your neck and entire face from the sun, which is more important.

Bought this for the days I am outside gardening all day and it does a nice job. I love the opening for the ponytail and the adjustable strap to keep it on your head. I haven't had it long so will have to see how it holds up to long term use, but it seems well made so I am not anticipating any issues. The brim is big/wide so it provides a lot of coverage to your face. I also love the flap on the back of the hat which protects your neck since I am usually bending forward while gardening and the back of my neck tends to get burned a lot. The flap has the option to clip it up so it is not as long but I will probably never use that option. The only "Con" I have found is that it sits lower on my head than I would have liked, so the tops of my ears end up inside the upper portion of the hat. There is an adjustment strap but that doesn't seem to fix the issue very well for me. Over all I really like the hat and have already recommended to a neighbor who complimented me on it. I would buy again.

This is by far my favorite summer hat! It offers amazing sun protection bc the brim is large and angled down well, plus of course the flap in the back. The cord keeps it from blowing off. I have two of this hat and both were packaged by the manufacturer in a thin, sturdy, flat box, so the brim remained pristine and unbent in shipping, which I very much appreciate. Also, I have a huge head and this fits great. My only issue is the snap on the back so you can shorten the flap if you want. I've literally never used that function- I bought a hat with a neck flap for a reason - but my hair gets wrapped around the snap and ripped out and it hurts! I really need to just remove the snap, but it will leave an ugly hole.

This was everything I wanted. Lightweight, good, adjustable fit, adjustable chin strap so it doesn’t blow off. I was also so very pleased to learn that accidental stains clean right up! Somehow, I got several drops of CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM on the back flap (!!!???- like HOW?). I thought I would have to pre-treat and be careful to use cold water to get the stains out. Imagine my surprise when I held the back flap under a cold water tap, used my kitchen sink sponge and gently wiped it off. Every spot came right out. No scrubbing, no residual stain. Amazing clean up. Highly recommend!

Great sun hat! It really does protect my face, ears, and neck from the sun SUPER well. My only issue is that I also tried using it with deer fly tape, but the flap on the back of this hat flaps really hard in the wind (even if you button it back) and always gets stuck in the tape instead. Kind of a bummer I can't use it for also fending off deer flies, but it works perfectly for what it's actually made for. I love it and will keep using it to avoid having to sunscreen myself to death every day.

My Wife liked this hat. It has good coverage including the veil in the back covering the neck. Her gardens are in the front where the most sunlight is, so this is perfect. Good ventilation and UV protection!

Love this thing. I live in a desert climate. It shades the eyes & keeps the sun off the neck.

Ugly as but it offers complete sun protection

I've tried for years to find a sun hat I like, with little success. I have a big head, so most hats end up sitting on top of my head, making me look like a cartoon character. Some are too heavy. Most blow away. I usually end up (unhappily) wearing a baseball cap. BUT...I love, love, LOVE this hat. True, it's not going to win me any style awards, but it's very comfortable and it does the job. It packs well, it's lightweight and breathable, it adjusts to fit my big head, and there's even something like a big buttonhole at the back that I can pull my ponytail through. The cord keeps the hat from blowing off in the wind (because it's so light, that's a real risk if you don't use the cord). And the bit of fabric that protects the back of my neck is very light--I don't even notice it when it's down. You can button it up onto the back of the hat if you want to look a bit less like Indiana Jones. The hat does give me hat head, but I don't think there's a hat in the world that doesn't. All in all, a great hat.

Hard brim front. Soft on the back. Which you can let down or clip up. Love that it is protecting the back of neck, so important. Couldn't find a sunscreen that is non toxic for dogs and for the ocean so I looked for gears with upf 50+ to get a full coverage and eliminate the need for sunscreen. Inside has a drifit material to wick sweat and protect the head. Outside on the sides are mesh for air circulation.. No worries about head being burnt through the mesh holes. Colour is fine. Dark enough to withstand some dirt and light enough to reflect off the sun's heat. I got a big head. About 58cm and this hat fits just nice, band at the maximum.
