Have ordered these multiple times over the years. They are durable and fit just right.

My son likes these, but he felt the little ‘tabs’ of excess thread on each side of the leg openings from the back seam. Easy fix: just take a little black thread and sew the tabs toward the *outside* of the underwear. Don’t cut the tabs, or the whole seam may unravel. Took 2 mins to sew a tab out of the way — worth it. Good, comfortable underwear are hard to find. Before and after photos of stitching a tab are included.

Large size has always been a trifle tight, so decided to try XL size. May as well be wearing boxers instead of briefs. Loose at the thighs and sags badly in the lower region... Still may tighten up after a hot washing and drying, and still a good product for quality of material and manufacture. These are probably fine unless like me you tend to run between off-the-rack sizes, in which case you settle for tight or loose and live with it when you have to wear anything at all. Worth 4 stars for most buyers, and rated accordingly.

Brand loyalty to underwear? Yeah, kindof odd. But defaulting to Hanes for many years mean that you also can mentally track slow changes, and they haven't been in the positive. Start with the good -- the size and material are comfortable, cut to the right dimensions and the colors (if you buy anything other than white) doesn't bleed and is as claimed. However, over the years, small changes have taken place. The material is a bit lighter and less durable. The fabric starts to wear faster than it did in the past. The elastic in the waist band has a tendency in some cases to "snap" leaving random elastic fibers and sometimes leaving the waistband unusable, though this is just occasional (as opposed to never in the past). But my biggest issue is the quality of the stitching. The stitching is both not as well done, and is occasionally so close to the edge that it starts to unravel. This causes seams to start coming apart or needing to cut off strands of threads that appear suddenly from the waistband or elsewhere. Because of brand loyalty and familiar comfort, I continue with the brand. But I miss when they held together and were usable for longer than they seem to be today. So, still recommended, but don't expect top-of-the-line quality or durability.
