Papaya Periwinkle Seeds for Planting – 50 Pcs Annual, Fast-Blooming, Heat & Drought Tolerant Vinca Flower Seeds with Vibrant Colors Ideal for Gardens, Beds, Borders & Containers

First of all, I live in Nicaragua, I ordered these seeds and in a couple of days they were received at a parcel post in Miami and 3 weeks later I picked them up in Managua. Despite the shipping time, the seeds arrived alive and germinated well, at least 30 plants germinated from the seeds, however you must be careful not to expose them to high humidity, this variety will die if it floods, you can recover them from lack of irrigation but not you can recover from excess moisture. Regarding the colors, papaya and raspberry the flower corresponds to the one presented in the packaging, the black cherry that I obtained does not have the effect on the leaves that I expected, they are basically monochrome of a strong pink color, the papaya and raspberry colors do have the dark center as advertised in the vinca tatoo series. To germinate the seeds, I left them soaking in boiled water for 24 hours, after that I used an egg carton to germinate them and then put them in an intermediate container before transferring them to the ground, it was in the intermediate container where most of them died, you must choose a soil light with excellent drainage, but it is not the supplier's fault, they provide live seeds with a good germination rate, it is up to the grower to keep the plants alive after they germinate. With this purchase my collection of vincas ends (in Nicaragua we call them guajacas) due to our tropical climate these plants are perennial for us and it is not necessary to replant, just prune and fertilize.

I'm going to stop buying flower seeds from amazon. This is the second year in a row that I've purchased seeds for beautiful flowers, and the second year with nada, zippo, NOTHING coming up!!! Don't know how old the seeds are, but I bought these in 2024 and must have forgotten nothing came up because I stupidly bought them again this year.

I loved the flowers color and matching the order . 99% of seeds were germinated . This is my 2nd order 👍🏻

Out of 50 seeds only 1 survived. But it’s ok because you can get multiple seeds from this one plant . The colour is very vibrant . I love it‼️😍

I used the winter sewing method with these seeds and they are beautiful but I only had about three of the seeds germinate. Not sure I would try these again.

Slow to grow. My flowers were more hot pink and less salmon.

The flowers appear to be slightly different from the image in this ad! But as time passes and more blooms emerging, they are becoming favorites in my garden.
