Kemeco Solar Lamp Post Light, ST4311AB1-2 Dusk to Dawn Outdoor Bright Street Post Light for Yard Garden Patio Walkway Driveway Landscape Decor (Double-Head)

Over the past two ... EDIT: three... years, this lamp post has been through seasons of remarkably cold and hot weather, rain, snow, ice, and wind. It still comes on faithfully at dusk and turns off at sunrise. I filled the pot nearly to the top with pea gravel and the lamp post hasn't budged, even in 60+ mph winds. I placed edging pavers around the base to keep the weed-wacker from damaging the pot. I attached a nice house number sign to the post with zip ties which gives it an added appeal. I'm extremely pleased with this product. It is well constructed, durable, and looks nice. I would recommend to anyone who wants something like this. UPDATE: Changed the AA rechargeable batteries after 2 years because the light became dim. Also cleaned the glass panels. Still works like new! Bright and reliable. This is a very solid purchase.

I’m truly enjoying this solar lamp post light. I chose the one with “arms” as I can hang bird feeders on each side. It’s been an instant hit with our feathered friends - we’ve had so many beautiful bird visitors who enjoy eating at the feeders, and also perching on the bar above. The light functions well at night if there has been a day of full sun. It will last several hours if that is the case - starting bright and getting dimmer through the night. On partially sunny to cloudy days, the light still comes on, but it dims much more quickly. It is well built and strong. Most of the solar lights I have are simply functional and there exclusively to provide light at night. This one is exceptional, because it looks beautiful in the day and the night, and is providing a wonderful hang out for our lovely neighborhood birds. Another feature that I like is that the rechargeable batteries are replaceable.

I read some great reviews on these lights and even though they were spendier than many others I decided to get these because they are metal and gad many reviews mentioning the great quality. I`m glad I did because they are well worth the price. Easy to put together ,set up in minutes, and plenty of light. One arrived with a faulty switch which I didn't realize until I had them set up but the company stepped up and asked how I preferred they make it right. I didnt want to take my plants out and send the whole thing back so they sent me a new top/power supply and easy directions (3screws). Absolutely love the look, the light and the company. Will be buying more as Christmas approaches!

Arrived in perfect condition and well protected during shipment. Very easy to put together. I simply attached the bottom pole to the planter, placed it on a solid base and used a level before filling half way with stones. Then covered it with four layers of weed preventer fabric before adding soil and flowers. The one tip I have is that the heads of the little screws (used to secure the poles and lantern at the joints), strip easily so be careful tightening them. They also do not screw in flush and I had to unscrew the lantern slightly to get it to line up with the base. But they did include a extra full set of these screws. If they used an Allen Wrench application it would have been so much easier and would make it harder for anyone to steal. It stands straight and solid. The lantern is much nicer then I expected and looks amazing. I knew it was brighter then other solar lamps but was still not convinced it could be as bright as a wired lamp. Well I was wrong, it is bright and lights up my entire front walk way! The one thing I wish I did in retrospect was to coat the base nuts and bolts with a waterproof coating. They are going to be exposed to constant moisture from rain and watering the flowers in the planter. Overall extremely pleased with this purchase.

This is the second Kemeco solar post light that I have ordered. The quality put into the post itself is superior. The post is made out of metal and not plastic or resin. The lamp gives off a great quantity of light. The first kemeco light that I purchased was made for installation on a wood deck. I drilled some holes in my concrete pad and installed it right by the door of my screen room. The second Kemeco post light is the one that I review here. The lamp itself is very pretty and the fact that it comes with a planter made it easy to place in my garden on the opposite side of my screen room. These lights stay lit all night long and give off enough light to provide both security and beauty to my screen room area. I would strongly recommend purchasing these lights as I believe they are the best post lights on the market

This light is gorgeous. I was limited in the places I could install this in my yard. It ended being place to only get about 3 hours of direct sunlight daily. It’s wintertime of course so it comes on now around 4:30 and by 10pm it’s growing quite dim. I feel very certain if you install it in direct sunlight for most of the day it will give you the brightness you want for as long as you want. The design is beautiful and it looks heavy duty not flimsy. It is quite a beautiful addition to your garden. Honestly I would replace the solar batteries so it will keep on working for a many years to come but I’ve also thought it would be very easy to run electricity to it if that’s something you might like and had the skill set. One last thing. I would love this lamp at the price it is listed at now on Amazon. But my opinion could be a little biased as I only paid $129. for it as it was the last one available at that time. If they had had more for that price I would have bought 2 or maybe more. You can’t go wrong with this lamp, it’s technology and it’s workmanship.

I was very impressed with this right out of the box. Nice details, good packaging (the glass was intact), solid base. The LED lights are bright (there's three separate batteries/LED groups). However, the LEDs are bright white, not warm. To make more of an yellow/orange glow I put the orange cap of an emergency light around the existing plastic "bulb" and siliconed it in place -- does the job! My only other slight fault is that the lamppost isn't the traditional size -- a bit shorter than I'd like. But overall, highly recommended.

Bought 2 previously. But ran out of stock .So I paid twice as much from the states amazon saying that best on the market by far

Would have been happy with lights except two glass panels broken during shipping. I can’t see away to report / rectify with Amazon and self repair shouldn’t be required for a brand new product, let alone I will be unable to source like for glass…These glass panels should, I suggest, removed from the Head and packed in a manner that will handle the mishandling, deliberate or otherwise, of the carriers in transit. Otherwise, happy with lights performance and “looks” which are consistent with expectations at price point.

Bought one for the deck 2yrs ago and LOVED IT, so I bought another this year. It is perfect. Waiting for it to go on sale again to buy one as a gift. BUY IT!

I waited 6 months to watch the performance and I'm very happy. Well made and durable. Good night light even through cloudy days. I highly recommend this item. I have now bought a second one but had to send back the second one because of damage to the base. I reordered and received another lamp and I'm happy with the condition. Bit of a pain to have to send back an item .... but these things happen.
