Simple to use. Good quality
Good product. Made with Europe in mind. Metric must convert SAE. But simple to use. Great quality. Would buy again.

It’s not a bad gig, but there has to be a better way to align it
Once you have the jig centered using the metal pointers, that part is good, but the alignment arrows are not very close to the door itself so you have to almost eyeball it to make sure it is sitting center the center of the mortising for the strike plate. I wish they came up with a better way to align that part. If the manufacturer is reading this, I think you should make pointers going down to line up the center of the whole beans drilled for the lock set So you can mortise out the pocket in the exact center of your line. If there is a way to do this, the directions don’t talk about it and nor do the videos show it. Once you have it all lined up where it needs to go, the routing part is very simple and accurate.

Trend Lock Jig
This thing is heavy and is very solidly built. Once I figured out how to use it, I was able to get great results. It is way, way overpriced in my opinion but it has no competition.

Collecting dust
Universal, my arse. I bought this for an Australian high end lockset sold in most high end fixture outlets. Kinda like buying a socket set with only SAE sockets. Where's the metric sockets? And so it goes, where's the templates for all the kool locksets out there that we really need it for. Lotta money spent here and all the wrong templates. They should back up the product with any and every template imagineable

It’s a lock jig
Once reading the instructions it’s best to practice on a scrap of timber that same width as a door. It’s a bit confusing at first to adjust the jig to the right place but practicing is the best option. After a few goes it’s quite simple to use. I fitted a latch in about 5 minutes after the door was set on its edge. Don’t try to use this when the door is on the door frame/lining. Great piece of kit. Especially if you fit several doors at a time. It’s money earning and time saving. I’ve read the other reviews and haven’t notice the templates not working with the locks but it’s possible Trend has updated the sizes as I both this at Christmas.

Nice bit of kit
Not used a lot at the moment, first time using so a little hesitant, once set up was a doddle to use, good quality as expected from trend, not cheap but hopefully save time in the future, although I don’t fit as many locks these days,
