Does it come with a wire?

Comes with an AC power cord but does not come with the cord that goes from guitar to the amp.

What kind of power supply does this use? Can I plug into the wall or does it take batteries? I'm not very familiar with amplifiers, thanks :)

its got a 3 pronged plug in. you can run it with a car battery hooked up to an inverter, if u wanna use it on the go. u just have to make sure that whatever u plug it into had 3 prongs.

Does this amp give out heavy metal guitar sound ??

There is an overdrive on this amp, and it is very receptive to pedals. When I purchased my daughter's, I decided to run my pedalboard through it, and I had a blast. This is, however, a low power amp, and is designed for practice. It easily fills a small room with sound. To play heavy metal, you may want to consider some added pedal effects to tailor your sound, but this smp will give you good results until you are ready for a more powerful amp. I have also played bass through it, and it does well.

Would this be good for Karaoke (I have a Karaoke Mixer) or for connecting to a Projector to boost the sound?

This depends on the venue. For karaoke at home or in a very small room with a small crowd, it may be okay, but for large rooms or big crowds, you may want to invest in a good PA system.
