I recently decided to hang some valuable paintings in my new apartment and chose this based on the great reviews—glad I did. It’s exactly what I needed. Installation was easy, and it comes with almost everything (you’ll just need pliers). The wires feel strong and secure, and as long as you’re careful while mounting, it works perfectly. For heavier frames on drywall, I recommend using anchors for extra support. Great value for the price!

I have a hodge podge of art prints, framed posters and other memorabilia I want to display. It's a similar mess of what can I hang with a frame hanging hook vs what has a slot and needs a nail vs some frame specific fastener. This kit lets me add hanging wire to all my frames. Now everything hangs the same way and is much easier to center and level as they hang from the middle of the wire.

I was always buying picture wire in bits and pieces so this is a nice set and the D ring hangers are a little hard to find at Lowes, so I am glad to have a supply of these. My only complaint is that getting the wire out is a pain. If I take off the little ties, the whole thing wants to unwind into a mess and if I leave them on (which is what I am doing, you kind of have to fish the wire out a little at a time by sliding it out of the ties. Maybe not a big deal for small pictures, but I needed some 4ft sections and it was kind of slow going. I kind of wish it was on a reel of some sort.

I use this kit while putting together a group of posters that were to be displayed. It worked well and did what I needed done. I would recommend it to anyone that needs picture hanging supplies.

Good assortment of picture hanging hardware. I especially like the stainless steel cable and the ferrules. The plastic case helps keep everything together & organized.
