Tushbaby Baby Hip Carrier, Original Hip Seat Carrier for Newborn to Toddler

Just what I needed! Good lumbar support, toddler sits comfortably, she's enjoying it and I get to have one free hand. No more achey arms. A bit pricey, but is sturdy and is very handy because it can be transformed in a over the shoulder bag. I had a fancy belt that could be attached on and I transformed it in a bag when on holiday.

This was a game changer when looking after my granddaughter. I struggle when she needed picking up especially when she got heavier. It took a lot of pressure off my arms. Easy to use, the size of the belt was generous so was not uncomfortable to wear

I have a very clingy 1 year old so this just saved my arms and back. Absolutely love it.

I got the add on strap too because it was a bit snug Im size 14. I love it though I use it for day trips instead of a diaper bag - phone wallet tissues keys water lip chap pills sunglasses all fit for mom and then 2 outfits, wipes, diapers, burp clothes, puree pouch and snacks all fits. You can also loop on toys with those silicone attachments. Amazing. I walked around Toronto Aquarium and CN tower all day and also did zoos and farms trips with this and no back pain it’s incredibly ergonomic. Idk why or how it works, but it does it’s amazing.

13キロの双子育児中で、片手で抱っこできないと不便なのでヒップシートは必須です。いろいろ使ってきましたが、重いのは重いけど腰が一番痛くならないです。厚みは出るけど、クッションが入ってて、密着度が高いので、ベルトがずれにくいのがいいです(メッシュでも夏は暑いのは仕方ない…)。黒にゴールドのファスナーなのが他にないタイプで、すごいおしゃれです！ポケットも複数あって、量もしっかり入るので、これ一個にほぼ全て収まります。20キロまでOKなので、これからすごく活躍してくれると思います。

I hummed and hawed about whether or not to spend the money and buy this one as it does look a little like it could be a gimmick... and I looked at many other hip carrier options too, but finally decided to get this one (this is the ORIGINAL one, created by a mom, and the other ones out there seem to be copycats which showed up in the market after this one mostly from what I can tell)... but I am SOOOO glad I opted to get this one!! Most of the copycat ones aren't nearly as good or as well made and thought out, and a lot of them don't even have the storage compartment! I just LOVE that it has a big enough storage compartment to fit a couple diapers plus a small change of clothes for my little one, plus a thin change pad, and some other odds and ends so that I really have all I need for most day trips especially around town or at a museum/fair etc! It also has an extra zippered pocket which fits a phone and my mini purse with necessary credit cards etc and a few dollars. Plus behind that zippered pouch there is a slot pouch where I can fit a half empty package of baby wipes (because having wipes handy is a must these days, and not just for diaper changes!) and best of all, I have a holster which can easily fit my 20 ounce Ecovessle Travel Mug or a medium sized water bottle, so I always have a drink with me too! And last, but not least, it also has x2 clips which can be used to attach a carry handle for when it's folded and not in use, but I use these to clip my keys or a hat etc onto so that I have them handy, but don't have to carry them! I personally find this carrier to be very comfortable for walking around town or on light walking outings... although for long walks/hikes it's not ideal unless your toddler is walking on their own for at least part of it, because I do find that with a heavier toddler if they are 'up' the whole time, or especially if they want to nap, then it can start to get heavy after a while... so I generally use my Ergocarrier for longer walks/hikes, but for times when I know my little one will want to be up and down lots, or for stores and fairs etc, it's IDEAL!! *And also I find it works well for sitting in cafe's etc when you don't have a way to set your little one down, because at least it keeps one hand free and they can stay on your hip easily even at a table in most cases, and my little one still loves it! It's also SUPER helpful now that my little one is getting bigger! I find that after they reach about 20lbs all of a sudden carrying them around just on my hip causes quite a bit of back and arm strain, but with this carrier it shifts the load so I no longer have to jut my hip out and my arm only has to be there to support their back mostly, I'm no longer supporting the weight with my arm! Honestly I just can't say enough good things about this carrier! I was skeptical, and I know they don't work for everyone, but especially if you have a bit of a clingy baby/toddler, I personally think THIS CARRIER IS WORTH A TRY!! It's honestly been a game changer for me, and I get stopped every time I go out with it because people want to compliment me on it and say "I wish I had one of those when my kids were little!" Just make sure you do up the velcro good and tight, and then cinch the clip nice and tight too, as that really helps ro make it a solid seat! *Also if your baby is still breastfeeding it can be super handy too as it can be spun to the front and then support at least half of their weight in a laying down position and make nursing on the go quite doable when needed too especially if you are standing! I have no affiliation with the Tushbaby company, although I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone I know with kiddos!! I personally got this when my little guy was about 7 months old (although I wish I had it even earlier!) and now at a year old we still use it almost every time we go out! and I plan to use it for at least another year, maybe longer depending on weight although this seems to support a good sized kiddo easily enough!

I use this with my 4month old baby everyday around the house, and for short walks. She enjoys watching the world but also being held tightly. When we go for longer walks I use a full baby carrier, but now that it’s summer, it’s much breezier to use a hip seat so her body is not covered

I was hesitant to invest in a hip seat given they are so expensive and people either love them or hate them. Was unsure at first but now I've used it multiple times find it great for short walks or ducking into the shops. My bub is 9kg and 5 months old and works well for him.
