La Roche-Posay Glycolic Acid Dark Spot Serum with Vitamin B5, 1oz

Holy moly, I don't know what is in this stuff but it makes dark spots, hyperpigmentation, melasma disappear in just days!! And honestly I do not know how it does it because I did not experience ANY peeling from this stuff. And I am no stranger to dark spot correctors, serums, soaps, you name it, I have tried everything under the sun to make my dark spots go away and nothing ever worked. And most things dry out and make my skin peel which only causes MORE dark spots! I've been trying things for years, ever since I hit my late 30s and started getting spots. I'm Asian so dark spots are the way we show our age. I have melasma so I have to be really careful about the sun or I will get a sun mustache, and I also suffer from hormonal acne so often have hyperpigmentation from fresh acne. Finally, I'm also just blessed with skin that pigments from any irritation at all. So in trying several dark spot correctors including several that LRP creates, I overdid it and caused a ton of irritation that then led to even MORE hyperpigmentation to correct than before I started!! Well, enter this serum. I started it a week ago after seeing one reviewer's pictures saying she saw fading within HOURS. Shout out to her because she included pictures and I wanted so bad to believe her hours long claim, so I purchased this serum right away. Well it took more than a few hours for me to notice a difference, but I will say I noticed fading probably starting the next day. But I wasn't sure if it was just wishful thinking or if I was really starting to see imporvement. But now, a week later, it's clearly visible in my before and after pictures. The fading is unquestionable, in any light I take photos in. I'm still in disbelief about how fast it was and the fact that I didn't have any irritation. If my skin didn't peel how did the spots disappear?! Is this how skin bleaching works?? If so, forget trying to make thousands of layers of skin peel unnaturally, just bleach it instead! I gotta say I'm glad I blindly trusted the reviews and marketing of this product, because IT WORKS!! BUY THIS NOW! YOU WONT REGRET IT.

I’m getting age spots on my temples and other places around my face. Started using this product around the end of January of this year 2025. Have gone through two bottles and just started on my third. It takes a while but this stuff absolutely works! You may see that some spots and freckles will disappear quite quickly while others seem to have no progress at all, but stick with it use it twice a day on the dark spots and you will start to see some remarkable improvement. At first it’s very slow but it ramps up almost exponentially as you keep using it. So I’m at nine months of usage now as it is September 20 25 and two bottles have resulted in remarkable progress and I am very much encouraged that the toughest of my spots are on the path to being gone. My advice is to apply it Only on the spots using the dropper massage it in vigorously for one to two minutes and then dab a little extra on top. Do this twice a day and you will make faster progress than I did. In the beginning I was skeptical and for the first few months was using it sporadically maybe once a day maybe once every other day But then I started to see some results and ramped up my frequency. I’ve tried a bunch of others before this and they didn’t make much progress, but this is the winner!

I love this serum, it feels nice and hydrating and I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter and more evenly toned since purchasing this a few months ago. I will say the smell is pretty strong, and it stung a little bit when I used it but only the first time, and I do have sensitive skin. All in all good product

This product claims you’ll see a reduction of dark spots and smoothing of skin tone in 2wks. I was so pleasantly surprised when I noticed a significant difference in the brightness and smoothness of my skin, and esp. how much the dark spots had faded in just 2-3 days! I didn’t really believe it at first; I had to keep looking and changing the lighting in the room. However, I can definitely verify this product does what it says after using it now for 8-12wks now. Only bad thing I can say about it is, it has taken on a very unsavory fragrance. I don’t recall any overwhelming odor when I first opened it, so I’m not sure if it slowly oxidizes or changes in some way when it hits the air, or if the bottle doesn’t get closed tightly (which I tend to do sometimes), or if it’s part of a bad batch? But I’ve continued using it without any irritation and the product has given me the same wonderful results. It is expensive but if you’re in a position to splurge on your face care, I recommend adding this to your facial routine.

Didn't change appearance of sun spots on my face after continuous use

I won’t buy this again because I know it’s gonna fix my problem in less than a week and I won’t needed again. I’m just impressed. I took the first picture at 11:34pm, second picture 1:22pm, 14 hours later and, I don’t know if I’m crazy but, are you seeing that change? I will keep using it. Be careful! It can burn a little bit, but you can use it a few days per week. It works.
