My dog, an adorable, albeit destructive, 55lb Staffy Pitt mix, absolutely loves these kind of spiky toy balls. She loves to play fetch with them, but she’s terrible at fetch. She’s great at the go get and bring back, but not so much on the release part. It’s more like fetch-o-war with her. Between trying to get the ball away from her, and her just chewing on them in general, these types of balls weren’t holding up well at all. I tried many different brands advertising ones for aggressive chewers, and/or those dubbed “indestructible,” “chew-proof,” and “unbreakable” and none of them held up to the claims. However, while this one isn’t indestructible, it is by far the best of all the ones we tried. The pictures here are after about a month of daily use, with multiple play sessions a day. As you can see, both have damage, yet, both are still holding up and we play with them daily still. Others tend to last about a week, assuming they even make it past the first day. I assume I can get about 2 months from these, and that is so much better than the others, that it easily makes it worth it to me, given how much she enjoys them, even if it means buying these several times a year. For reference, these are the XL version. My only complaint is that they are only sold in a two pack, and not four or six like the smaller sizes are. One thing to note, the squeaker on these is INTENSE. As in way louder and higher pitched than similar balls. I let my girl play with them for two days, and then couldn’t take it any longer and pushed the squeaker part (which is very easy to do with the tip of a pen) inside the ball to stop the noise. The lack of squeaking didn’t seam to detract from its appeal to my dog, so you may want to consider doing the same, I’m pretty sure you won’t regret it. These balls are great and my dog’s favorite. I will happily keep purchasing them.

I picked up this 6-pack of dog toy balls and I’m really happy with them. The bright colors are fun, and having multiple balls is perfect for keeping playtime going without interruptions. They’re great for fetch, chewing, and just keeping my dog entertained overall. The material feels soft yet durable, and I like that they’re made from non-toxic TPR with no strong chemical smell. The spiky texture is a nice bonus too—it seems to help keep my dog’s teeth and gums in good shape while chewing. The squeaker is definitely loud and high-pitched, which my dog absolutely loves—it grabs their attention instantly and keeps them excited during play. They also bounce really well, making fetch more fun and interactive. I’ve had them for about 4 months now, and they’ve held up nicely with regular use.

This small ball squeaker delivers! I have purchased many squeaker balls similar to this, sometimes paying much more, only to be disappointed. This ball is the perfect size for my 65 pound yellow lab and golden retriever. They love them. The squeaker volume is loud. The rubber nibs are an excellent length to clean teeth and exercise gums. They are made of safe material. My dogs give these a good work out, yet they keep squeaking. You can safely throw these balls in the house and they will not break or damage things. They encourage dogs to enjoy the chase so they get exercise. I use these inside the house because I don’t know how they would respond to sunlight. At six for $15, these are a great deal. Worth more than 5 stars! Update 1/13/25 I have been so pleased that I purchased another set of this brand of squeaky balls. I have given a few away to family and friends. My golden retriever loves this ball the best. They have helped keep his teeth cleaner because they have small nubs. The squeakers eventually become dialodged, probably from canine teeth hitting the squeaker. My across the street neighbor who rescues dogs will inherit my non squeaking balls. My dog really chomps down on these and there has never been one torn to pieces. I only use these inside our home. I have recommended this brand to anyone interested. Please beware that these do have a bad smell when first coming out of the box so I don’t think they are BPA or other chemical free unfortunately. Still, the positive attribute of being able to throw these against walls or down a hallway and having my dog loving my playfulness is worth any negative these may have.

These colorful, large (3.5in) nubby balls are my Doberman's new found favorite toy. As I have said before, toy balls are like socks in the washing machine...they disappear into the wild blue yonder never to be seen again. I imagine some secret, undiscovered, cavernous hollow contains all of the lost balls in the world, and if they ever are involved in a landslide, look out below because we may all be in trouble. Anyway, the other three balls he had were wonderful but had fulfilled their destinies and have been assigned duty as outside balls to continue their calling. Enter the need for new house balls. These six brightly colored spheres were the right price and so were ordered. According to the description they are BPA free with no chemical smell. The little nubby prongs serve to massage teeth and gums as well as making it easier for the dog to carry it. When these balls arrived, I was struck by the dazzling, vivid colors and the happy countenance of balls anticipating hours of puppy play! Indeed there was no chemical smell. Four were placed in reserve, and the other two were handed out right away; it was love at first sight. My dog latched onto them immediately and has not stopped carrying them around. He seems to love the squeaker, so I have not attempted to disable it. However, the squeak is not screechingly obnoxious or loud. These balls bounce true to the trajectory, are easy to throw and roll, and simple to spot when hunkered down trying to be inconspicuous. The nice large size helps to preclude their getting lost under most furniture. When they get covered in grossness (dirt, saliva, mucous, slime...you get the picture), I just rinse them off in the utility room sink and voila' fresh as a daisy. I really think I have enjoyed these balls as much as he has because they fit comfortably in my hand, are lightweight, and easy to bounce, toss, and roll avoiding possibilities of rotator cuff injury. So if your dog likes balls, I highly recommend these little orbs. It boils down to this: they are just plain fun all around. My 11-pound shih tzu is obsessed with these. They do make a good bit of noise - he likes that; I don't! He likes to sit and chew them and he likes to play fetch with them. Good quality. They really stand up to my destructive chewer. This is the third time I've bought them for a different household. NOTE: they do smell a little bit like chemicals when you open the box. Leave them outside overnight and they are fine.

I was searching for a ball that works with a ChuckIt! ball launcher, won't wear teeth down and was likely to be a low choking hazard. These balls work with a ChuckIt! Fetch & Fold Launcher. I would imagine they work with any standard size tennis ball launcher. Distance is minimal throwing into the wind, decent without wind (with the right arc, maybe ~100-150ft?) and works quite well throwing with the wind. Obviously these are not going to fly as far as a regular tennis ball or ChuckIt type balls but I am very happy with them. These shouldn't wear down teeth at all like tennis balls do. I didn't know any better 20 years ago with my first dog and she wore down all her incisors to the gum line from chomping repeatedly on tennis balls. The fabric is abrasive to teeth. So far the three of these squeaker balls in circulation are fully intact. My dog only chomps these for the squeaking. She does it a lot. Squeakers are still working. She does not try to destroy these balls unlike everything else in the house. You know your dog. If you think they will tear these balls apart, don't bother buying them. With all the little spikes on these balls I would be surprised if they turned into an accidental choking hazard unless your dog starts ripping them apart or the size is not appropriate for your dog (my dog is ~50 lbs). Update: added benefit of the spikes is that I can pick up the ball and get minimal to no slobber on my hands. The only negative for me is the squeaking. My dog loves the squeak, me not so much. Update: I took a nail and pushed it into the squeaker hole to silence the squeakers. Be very careful and read the one star reviews of any balls for your dog before buying them. I was thankful I did. There are some reviews of balls out there that, if accurate, are downright dangerous and manufacturers should probably be sued for incompetence since they are still selling them (think ChuckIt! Ultra Squeak, ChuckIt! Air Fetch, etc).

Overall pretty good I wish they would make him a little bit more durable but for the price you pay for that many it's decent

The texture and squeaker keep them really interested, and the spiky surface is great for deterring chewing some. The size is perfect for larger dogs. 🎾 They’ve held up well during playtime and the squeak keeps my dogs entertained much longer than regular balls. They are great bouncers. If you have chewers I would recommend supervising play. I wouldn’t leave them alone with these balls for very long. 🎾 Used for supervised play and fetch, they’ve been a great addition to our toy selection. Overall, a great value and my dogs get excited every time these come out!
