Fun art project for kids to assemble
I got this for my daughter. She loved putting the pieces together. Pieces were well made and easy to detach from the wood boards as well as assemble. Pieces fit properly together as expected. Not too complicated. Reasonably easy to read instructions. I Do wish they were a little thicker, but that is My opinion, but a good value for the price point. Nice activity for her to do. Definitely age appropriate.

Jeep Model
I loved building this model but it requires patience and gentle hands. It took me several evenings to build it but that was one of the reasons I bought it. I wanted something challenging and rewarding. The parts are mostly easy to get out of the die cut sheets (I accidentally broke a couple of pieces, but thankfully they have some extras of some pieces). Very few required sanding and the engine was the only part that didn't fit right with out some trimming. This is not for young children and even 10-12 year olds would need help. I'm looking forward to building my next model from this company.

Great End Product, Tough Build
The completed car is filled with little details everywhere you look! Plenty of props are easily removable from the set and can be put back on the vehicle, and the wheels move WITH tire suspension. That was definitely a surprise! I wouldn't recommend this set for beginner builders at all as the instructions are very difficult to follow with no words to explain complicated parts of the blueprints. As an advanced builder and visual learner, I was able to make do with the problematic diagrams... this took 2 days to put together. Pros: - The tires have suspension; the entire car can literally be played with on bumpy terrain! You are given springs to add to the construction of the suspension system and they work like magic. If you glue your connection points so the car won't fall apart, this is actually a relatively sturdy play toy. - I used barely any glue; the entire car can stay together just fine. - Steering wheel turns, parking break lever moves, gear selection wiggles! - Props like the hunting knife, shovel, gun, seat cargo, and convertible skeleton are all easily removeable. The axe is stuck in place but could also be removed if you skip the steps to secure it. - You could easily paint these pieces as you go to fully customize the look of your car. Cons: - Quite a few parts are fragile and while you do get a decent amount of spares, WHICH spares you have are unknown to you (as the entire manual is just pictures and nowhere does it say what's a duplicate). - The diagrams to put the pieces together are inaccurate. Sometimes parts are missing from the diagram that are supposed to be there. Sometimes the red arrow indicating where the piece should go is drawn on top of another piece that you are attaching, instead of going under the piece, misleading you on where the piece goes. Sometimes the "design" side of a part is shown as the "bare" side and vice versa- again, the diagrams show you conflicting information on which way a part should be put on. I had to switch the headlights part 3-4 times throughout the build (luckily it's very easy to take off and reattach) because the diagram shows the "design" side in EVERY diagram, even when the car is flipped or rotated. Eventually I understood which way it should be facing once the skeleton looked more like a "car". - A lot of pieces are tight fits. You may have to disassemble and reassemble. In my case I didn't glue most of the parts once they were fitted together. This allowed me to disassemble when needed but the caveat is that some pieces didn't stay together. This causes misaligned fits later on. I had to cut 2 of my pieces down to make them fit.

Bug models
These are really just so cool looking and I enjoyed them but they are very delicate and easy to break so be careful. If you twist the part that gets stuck sometimes it helps loosen the part out on the hard to get out ones.

This wooden Jeep model is not for beginners!
First, let me say I've built several Uegars brand wooden models. This Jeep model is the first I've built by this brand. The Ugears models are FAR superior in all aspects. The assembly illustrations for this Jeep are difficult to see certail details and discern exactly where certain parts should fit together. Ugears instructions on the other hand are much more detailed and informative. Because the scale size of this Jeep model is rather small, the plywood containing the pieces is much thinner than the Ugears models I've built and a number of the pieces are extremely small and fragile. The front fenders are especially difficult to attach without breaking the flexible area of the fender. A couple of suggestions: Step #63, save that until the end. The model requires a lot of handling after this step and these small parts (shovel, rifle, crowbar) could easily get damaged if attached at this stage. Also, very important! In step #86, (2) parts C14 should be installed before you attach the rear wheels which is shown in step #78. With the wheels attached parts C14 are impossible to attach properly. Fortunately I was able to carefully remove the rear wheels to allow these parts to be attached. Also, even though models of this type state no glue is needed, with this model a number of pieces attach rather loosely and should be glued in place. Another tip, with any wooden model of this kind, lightly sand any burrs or rough edges of any piece before attaching Due to the poor illustrations throughout the instructions, and the small fragile nature of the parts I do not recommend this model for a beginner. Start with a moderate or advanced level Ugears model first.

Great for all ages!
I got this for my husband as a nostalgia gift- he loved putting it together for our childโs nursery. For the price, it is good quality and has lots of pieces- took him a good 3-4 hours to put together.

Happy with purchase but unfortunately the whale had two of the same sheets so it cannot be assembled.
