The seat is a perfect fit and several dollars cheaper than from the store where the toilet was purchased.

Broke within a few months, replaced seat and it broke again within a few months. This has a design flaw, it lacks support where it's needed. Wish I'd read the seat reviews before installing the toilet; now thinking I need to change the whole flippin toilet

Nice design to go with the d-code elongated toilet. The soft close seat would be nicer, but this one had the right price, and I'm happy with it. I love everything Duravit designs and have been very satisfied with the way all of their products work. Very high quality all the way.

Terrible Toilet seat, you might as well buy a new toilet and save money in the long run. Our household weighs about 200lbs/90kg max have changed this toilet seat 5 times in the last 3 years. It always breaks in the middle. Duravit appears to have designed this toilet seat to be highly breakable forcing you to continue spending money. The size is awkward and there isn't a comparable cheaper toilet seat that fits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING A NEW TOILET INSTEAD OF SPENDING MONEY IN THIS ITEM.

I've bought two of these toilet seats and both have broken. The plastic parts should be metal. Most toilets seats at this price point at more durable

We have Duravit square toilets, leaving us with limited seat options. Within a few days to a few month, the seat cracks - all three have cracked in different locations. This is the third replacement of the same product we have installed in the past year. A professional installed the first replacement and we followed the supplied instructions when installing the additional two seats. Is there a more solid option will remain intact?

As with other reviews, I can confirm this seat is very prone to cracking. Forced to purchase this model for the third time now within the last 3 years. Using duct tape in the meantime to prevent pinching. Tried to contact Duravit several times while under warranty with no reply to date. Quality not as advertised.

Very good looking toilet seat

Way too expensive for a toilet seat. No reasonably low cost alternatives and loosens relatively easily. First one broke in under a year. Update: I am starting to think they give the builders the toilets at cost to sell these horrible seats to make up the cost. 4 toilets 6 broken seats in 4 years. $1200 in toilet seats if I replaced them with these and nothing else quite fits. Seriously considering replacing all my toilets as it would be cheaper in the long run.
