Elmhurst 1925 Cashew Milk Unsweetened - 32 Ounce (Pack of 6), Vegan

Very strong cashew flavor, if you really like cashews you will like this. There was a slight smell of chalk when first opening im guessing if chalk was added it was to neutralize acidity.

I've made my own cashew milk. It never came out as creamy as this Elmhurst milk, and you have to strain it, otherwise the texture is grainy. This cashew milk is of superb quality; it is made with only 2 ingredients (non-GMO cashews and water), and has no added sweeteners or thickeners. I rely on every single day (that I'm home anyway) for morning smoothies and my bowl of cereal. It works great in coffee too. Another thing that is nice about this cashew milk is that it can be stored without refrigeration until opened. I'll buy a case or two at a time and then keep them in my kitchen cabinet until I need to open a new bottle. The company also makes other plant-based milks, most of which I have tried. The 2nd best one is the walnut milk (also creamy, just a different flavor and more fat content). I also buy the hazelnut milk every so often (it's a little more watery than these other 2). Elmhurst also makes almond and oat milk (have not tried the oat milk yet). Yes these Elmhurst milks are pricey and I do go through bottles quickly, but for me this is worth every penny. I've not found a plant-based milk of this quality anywhere - and I've tried - and it's a lot of trouble to make your own. It can also be also expensive to make your own if you use good quality nuts, because you need to use a lot to make a milk as creamy as this. So you can try to make your own and see how the cost and effort compares. I've tried and think this is worth it and heartily recommend these Elmhurst milks, especially the cashew and walnut milks.

My favorite milk replacement by far... very creamy and only 2 ingredients! Can't get it better than that!

Excellent flavor Long shelf life

I've tried many brands of cashew milk, and this one is the best. Made with no fillers, only cashews, so it takes much less to be a good coffee creamer than any other type of dairy-free milk. It may seem more expensive, but it lasts much longer, so it's totally worth the price.

The taste... It reminds me of that "green" taste you sometimes get from sunflower seeds that were harvested before they were fully matured. I've no idea if cashew nuts even have green and ripe phases, because Google for some reason has convinced itself that green/ripe is the same as raw/cooked - at least when it comes to cashews. That being said the awful taste isn't overly strong, so it might be possible in recipes that include some other ingredients with a strong flavor. I don't know, I was so disappointed I just trashed the lot. The creaminess... I thought milk from cashews might be more creamy, but nope. Just like water. Infact it seems more watery than water, though I'm not sure how that's possible. I mean it's not clear, it's white, but it's as thin of a liquid as you could imagine.

Absolutely love this cashew milk. Creamy and thick. Only 2 ingredients-cashews and water ! Have ordered on Amazon before but in this last delivery package of six, one carton leaked, made a mess and was completely empty.

No nasty ingredients unlike most other nut milks. And still find it super creamy and delicious and not watery at all. It’s the only nut milk I use now.
