My young bearded dragon sleeps under kitchen paper… would this be good for him

This is approximately 3-4kg in weight. Like all paper bedding suppliers, we determine paper bedding by volume, not by weight. We do this because different paper bedding is made of different materials, and weight doesn’t really have much meaning; paper bedding is a compressed product. Hope this helps :)

Is this like the Fitch bedding please?

I'm not sure what Fitch bedding is this stuff is compressed paper but the volume expands once opened hold moisture very well and easy to cleanup and is soft...hope that helps

Is this good for whelping boxes

In my opinion I would say no. This was very dusty and all my rats ended up sneezing a lot while I was using it.
