Lasted 8 hours
It only lasted a couple hours until nighttime and the camera went into night infrared mode and then quit. I guess the Ring camera uses more power then?

Perfect replacement upgrade and works well!
Fast shipping, works great. I had a underpowered transformer (10VA) that was installed in a new build house by the builder. Upgraded and I installed this model and it solved all my issues with my Ring video doorbell (Ring app said I was under powered) and my actual doorbell ringer that would sort of buzz at real low volume with original transformer powering it.

Build quality good, perfect for heating system thermostat or doorbell, excellent mounting options
This was a replacement for my multi-zone boiler. It came with everything needed for a professional install. The transformer can be mounted in a steel box with a 1/2 knockout hole or it has the option to mount it with the included 4 bolt pad. I chose a metal box with a cover that had a 1/2 knockout and simply installed the transformer to the plate and tightened with included nut which made for a great tool free install. They really should provide a pic of the optional mount on back side. Wiring is of decent quality a gauge and should provide many years of service. My system uses zone motors to control heat and it handles the load with ease. If you are looking to use this for doorbell solution it would handle the task easily. his was less than half the cost of the same rated unit at the big box stores and greater mounting options. With Amazons fast shipping I never left the house and saved time and fuel running to the stores. Would definitely recommend this transformer for any needs requiring the rated specs.

I finally got my Ding Dong back!
After years of fussing with my wall chime, wiring, reading, replacing etc, my Ring doorbell now works perfectly. Wall Chime was getting a quiet Ding but no Dong. With the more powerful transformer, the Ring and the wall chime are working perfectly. A loud DING DONG. Dogs heard the faint Ding, I didnโt. They were my watch the front door dogs. If you have a mechanical inside chime, and itโs not got the umphh. Get this transformer.
