Tell me about the crotch area, is it paneled or gusseted? Does it hold a panty liner?

Paneled might be a better description....in the picture you see only one seam, but there are two... so picture two inner seams, approximately 1 1/2 inch wide, starting on the inner thigh of one leg and moving across to the crotch and then the other thigh. Seams are flat and VERY comfortable. You could put a panty liner on these...

do these have tummy support? I'm looking for something that feels like control top hose/tights

These shorts are usually used under skirts to prevent exposure as well as to reduce friction between the thighs. Tummy control as well as body shaping is not as effective.
