I had a visually impaired student for a while during 2024 that I worked with 1to1. This helped me create a bring game for him when a teacher let me know this was an activity the next day. He said it wasn’t bad for my first try literally writing everything backwards! It was easier than the big slate for an 8.5 by 11 paper. This was great! I even bought one that labeled money.

I bought these because a close family member of mine is legally blind, however, she knows how to read Braille. It is nice to write to her and make her feel more understood and accepted. Both of the pegs were intact, as the grio. The quality is nice and very durable. I really like the color green, and it makes it stand out. Worth the price.

I purchased this set for my children as we were learning about Louis Braille and I wanted a hands-on approach to try out how to write and then read in Braille. This set was absolutely fantastic, it works so well, and after some practice it really does make it easy to write in Braille pretty smoothly. As a Braille beginner I would highly recommend this product.

I have one on my desk and one in my bag. This worked out very well around Christmas, when I'd gone to see family and left it the ten or more miles away. It was also amusing to learn how to punch braille in y-axis mirrored fashion.
