There isn't much you can say about these tiny plungers, other than that they're clean and suitable. I wear gas permeable rigid lenses and don't usually need these to flick the contacts out my eyes, but they're handy to have. They come in a multi pack so it's great to have one handy in the bathroom, one in the desk, one in the bag just in case I get dry eyes at work. I suppose they might also come in handy in case Ken blocks Barbie's toilet again.

If you have ever struggled to remove contact lenses, then this is the product. I was issued with one of these at my eye hospital and decided to have one in every handbag. These are exactly the same as the hospital issue ones. You need to make sure the lens is centred over the pupil before you use it - then just moisten it with lens lubricator fluid (whatever you normally use to cleanse/insert), look straight ahead into a mirror, and gently press the suction end onto the lens. Pull the device away and there is the lens, sitting on the suction cup. Slide it off, don't try to pull it off. Works a treat.

I returned my order because I don't think it safe to use with eyes as suction was so forceful which could damage my eyes.

Perfect for rigid lenses. I had bought similar items that were not solid and proved to be useless. This is perfect and comes in a set of three so you don't have to worry if you lose one.

I have been wearing glasses for a good amount of years so I decided it was time for me to start wearing contact lenses but unfortunately I was the greatest in putting the lenses in my eyes or taking them out, As I either blinked before they were in or I struggled to even remove them so I was told about this product which you can use to not only remove the lenses from your eyes but also you can use it put them in. It is very straight forward to use and all you do is attach the lens to the suction cup at the bottom and when you either have removed the lens from your eye or when you are putting them in you are supposed to just squeeze the item and it detaches from the lens. It sounds simple enough but doesn't work all the time so sometimes when you put the lens in your eye its a little bit difficult to remove the item and keep the lens in place or even when you try to remove the lens the suction power is a little bit strong so can feel like you are pulling on your eye. After trying this for a period of time I did find it took longer and more fiddly then doing it the conventional way so decided to stop using this product and because it was not that expensive I just put it down to trial and error.

Can’t understand all the superlatives in other reviews. The suction power is only so so. Needs several goes at the lens before it is extracted.

I need to remove and cleanse, on a regular basis, the prosthetic scleral shell of a blind family member who cannot do it herself. I tried to do it bare handed and no luck. I read about this product, read the reviews, they all said it was great for removal but not easy to reinsert, using the tool. I found this to be true. It practically jumped out itself using this product! EASY! Reinsertion is not hard at all, just using my own hands. It was the taking out that was hard. The whole procedure took less than 5 minutes!!!

This little gadget is a must have of you wear hard lenses and have dry eyes. This saves pulling on your eye to remove your lenses. This is my second order on Amazon. A must have to keep on hand.

when it's dry my hard lenses give me a tough time coming out. this works perfect at getting them out. really worth it.
