The Dark-Hunters, Books 1-3: (Night Pleasures, Night Embrace, Dance with the Devil) (Dark-Hunter Collection Book 1)

Will definitely be reading the rest of the series! Loved this book. Easy to get sucked in and hard to put down.

Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series is one of the best Urban Fantasy/Erotica series I have read. I love all the characters and the romance is great. The erotic scenes are steamy and the characters are hot. The books do tend to have repeating themes such as 'Average woman gets swept off her feet by a supernatural hottie so that they can heal each other and find love.' or in other cases 'Two not so normal people fight together for a cause and find love along the way.', but despite the repeating romance themes all the important characters in each book have their own story to tell and unique personalities. No two characters are the same. Not to mention the DH series has it's very own detailed mythology with magick, monsters, demons and gods. Whether you are looking for an amazing romance, some epic action, or just a good fantasy novel I would definitely recommend this series.

Ok, book 1 took me DAYS to get through, almost a week. It didn't hold my interest. By the time I got to book 2 I had a good grasp on the world and it became enjoyable. By book 3, I have now become addicted. All the stories are quite predictable, it's the little mystery pieces within them that keep me intrigued and wanting to continue on. I love each of these books stepped off fairly flawlessly to the next characters story.

They were fantastic stories and each very different but such great characters. Can't wait to read the next dark hunter bolks.

This is the fourth time I've read this series. I've really enjoyed each and everyone of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books. I've shared them with all my book reading friends, giving all of us all fun and fond memories of discussion.

I read one of her other books, Fantasy Lover, first. It gave me a taste of her style and flair, and I read it in one day. I was so excited to get this first installment of her series, and I can say with great enthusiasm that they are all a great read! They get your blood pumping with the action and danger aspect, but she writes her characters so well that you (obviously) root for the hero while completely understanding the motivations and backstory of the “villain”. She perfectly combines the fantasy and romance genres, not weighing too heavily on either (but don’t worry there’s always a happy ending)! I’m excited to read the next installment in the series!

I bought the book read it, loved it, wanted to read the next one. From book store to book store I went trying to find all the books in this series. An impossible task when you only have three book stores in a fifty mile radius! (Don't even get me started about trying to read the actual books WITHOUT the now available reading list lol) They take all the leg work out with these new books. Simply put, they've made it stupid simple. The ease in which you can start reading, read to the end of the third book without having to search book stores libraries etc. no wait time shipping the next book via the internet to your home. (Amazon Prime shipping is fast, but still, a two day wait for your next book fix really stinks!) I highly recommend ALL of S. Kenyon's books!! If Stephen King is the King of horror, I proudly introduce you too, The Queen of Paranormal Romance!!!

I loved Kyrians story, I felt for Talon cause come in ...Celts but Zerak. Zerak killed me. I don't think I have EVER gone through so many laughs, hot flashes and tears. If you are on the fence about starting this series then fall off....it's worth it. And off I go to buy the next set
