Really nice and effective.
Used this on 2 Jeep XJs. One had a leaky vacuum heater valve (that I just didn't want to deal with) and the other was newer (no valve) but crappy insulation between the heated ducts and the AC ducts. This was a highly effective fix in both situations

Brass Shut Off Valve
This valve was purchased to place inline in a water hose to allow turning the water off to move the sprinkler then resume watering. It is just the right answer to keep from getting wet and also not kink the hose to stop the spray or have to walk back to the wall tap. Great that it is also made of brass so it will have a long life of use.

Quality Valve
I purchased this valve to install in a heater core hose. I haven't installed it yet, but seems like a quality Valve

blocks heat core flow
My heater core leaks on my 99 dakota pickup and my mechanic said to replace it would require dash board and steering column removal. Prohibitive! I live in a mild climate and now these ball shutoff valves can be turned off in the summer season when heater is not needed.

Works well enough on 3/4" rubber heater hose in a vehicle.
I used this I'm my van to shut off 3/4" heater hose lines to the heater in the back of the van. Two shut offs are installed under the hood. This allows a quick solution if there is ever a leak in the back of the van, while still being able to drive. The fit is not great for 3/4" rubber heater hose. The valve will fall right out of the house without a clamp. But with a hose clamp it tightens up adequately. I assume this is for 3/4" PEX or some other 3/4 standard... Not rubber hose. Also, the ball valve is not what I would call full-flow. I forget the size, but it was notably smaller that the i.d. of the fittings. Maybe 1/2" or 5/8". Not a problem for me, but something to consider if you have high-flow demands. Despite these slight disappointments, I give it 5 stars, as it is well made and propably works perfectly in applications it is actually intended for.

Damaged, although slightly it shouldn’t be this way
Bought to replace my car’s oil catch can’s drain valve (plastic)… and when i was about to install it I discovered one side has physical damage, the connector is not round due to a hard hit (fall)… product of inventory management or m, not as probable, bad shipping handling. I only require one side and it’s only on the edge of the connector, the surface for the hose to be pressed is free of this damage. In other words “I couldn’t care less” But I would suggest a better handling at the warehouse, and monitoring of shipping just in case. A more serious damage would have made the valve damage any hose connected to it

Avoid drilling through carpeting! If you can't....good luck. I couldn't.
I found this heater hard to install. There were no instructions on how to mount the supporting brackets. At first, I tried to mount the brackets on the floor, in front of where they finally ended up. Between this, and drilling through the carpeting, it could have been a lot harder. I also had a difficult time installing the hoses that lead to the back of the heater. I finally got it, but again, it was difficult. I took it to Bob Steinmann of "Tubes n Hoses" in Tucson and he thought it looked quite good. He has 40+ years in the business of installing heaters and A/C.

It works wonderfully
There really nothing I dislike this. It's a ball valve that did a really good Job on the application I needed it for. It worked out great.
