Don’t let others dissuade you about the custom fit. If you follow the instructions, you will not be disappointed. I wear these for work daily as well as at concerts and I honestly forget I’m wearing them. I’ve tried at least two other filtered earplugs from other manufacturers and can honestly say the Decibullz are where it’s at. They filter enough sound to protect your hearing and you don’t find yourself talking louder just to communicate with others. Note: The manufacturer warns against leaving them in the sun - they aren’t kidding! The earplugs will misshape but you can reform them by following the initial fitting process.

I’m professional wedding photographer. I’m always near loud speakers. Therefore, I’m always searching for a new and better noise canceling ear plugs. When I first laid my eyes on dB ear plugs, they looked promising and I thought they’d be great. However, when I got them, I followed all the instructions on how to mold them to your own ear. First of all, it doesn’t work. The plastic is way too thick to heat it up in a hot water. Plus, for the ear plugs to properly mold to your ear the plastic has to be hot enough. If it’s hot you can burn your ear and it hurts a when you let it cool off a little and then mold. It also starts hurting after about 15-20 mins. In my opinion, a rubber or sponge like rubber I would be best for the ear plugs to properly mold and it would not hurt the ear. Very disappointed. Would not recommend at all.

After discovering that the triple flange Eargasm plugs hurt my ears after a couple hours, I gave these a shot. I love the custom mold. Follow the directions and they come out pretty good without too much trouble. However, I found the noise filters lacking. Not enough noise reduction and the filters let too much bass through for me (motorcycle riding with loud pipes.) Additionally, the same rubber style triple flange also bothered my ears after 1-2 hours. Fortunately for these there is a simple fix. Swap out the plugs with memory foam buds (ones that fit 5-6mm post) and comfort issue solved! But there was still the issue of the filters. I tried swapping the eargasm filters in but they were way to big. So I took a shot and ordered the Eargasm "smaller" filters and lo and behold if they weren't almost an exact match in size and shape to these! Swapped out the filters in seconds and now I have both noise reduction, frequency response, and comfort I was looking for! I can hear my helmet speakers and traffic around me without going deaf from wind and exhaust. Took a few tweaks, but these solved my problem!

Work pretty well A little difficult to mold and reshape so not that easy to get perfect fit

Tried these out for the first time on a tour in January. They held up great and absolutely did their job! If you take your time and follow the instructions on the video with the molding process everything will be just fine. Don’t settle for the first mold/seal. My left ear molded beautiful but had to remold my right ear. But just put it right back in the hot water and it molded beautifully the second time. *The key is to take your time* I can’t stress that enough. As for comfort they are okay. They fit way back in your ear canal and the rubber seems to be a little dry. They do take some getting used to put it’s not a deal breaker. The big thing for me is that they stay in the entire show and don’t break their seal or come out. I’m part of a very high energy show with lots of movement, jumping and singing and they stay in the entire time and don’t lose their seal like all other plugs I’ve tried of this type. They also do a great job of noise reduction with no ringing in my ears after a performance. Definitely a great buy and would purchase again.

After losing three pairs of $60 loops I had had it a friend of mine suggested I get some that were form fitted to my ears and these are just what I needed. They don't look as cute that's for sure and they don't come with a cute matching lanyard but they stay in so you don't need to lanyard to keep them from disappearing. Recommended.

The idea of a custom molded ear plug was very light intriguing to me so I thought despite the $40 price tag it was worth a shot. Directions were easy enough to follow although it took a couple rounds of heating them to get them just right. The plug that entered the ear canal was small and slightly uncomfortable. When testing them with loud live music they did not cut enough of the sound to protect my ears. There was a almost unrecognizable difference between with and without them. My ears hurt after only a few mins of wearing them from sound exposure. These were supposed to be the high fidelity plugs for this purpose. Luckily Amazon allowed the return and I was able to buy two pairs of etymotics for the same price, which work wonderfully. Would not recommend this product, all hype and does not deliver

Our hearing is one of our most important senses...and yet everytime we go to a party, a wedding, a club, a conference, a movie, a concert we potentially destroy it a little bit more everytime....and for some unknown reason we never think of just popping in a handy comfortable and very effective device to hopefully safe guard our hearing till our dying day.... Decibullz are brilliant...and everyone should have a pair with them at all times..just in case! An innovative and excellent product with a second to none follow up team.

Extrêmement satisfaite ! Je cherchais des bouchons d'oreilles car je travaille en crèche et je fatigue énormément à cause du bruit. J'avais besoin d'une alternative qui me permette d'entendre clairement mon environnement tout en atténuant l'impact du son. Il était également important pour moi qu'ils ne tombent pas. J'ai choisi la gamme "high-fidelity earplugs", un investissement, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous. Pour ce qui est du moulage, il faut bien chauffé l'eau pour faciliter l'empreinte. **ATTENTION à la partie qui entre dans l'oreille, qu'elle soit bien sèche, personnellement j'ai failli me brûler**

He comprado varias marcas de tapones y estos me han funcionado muy bien, en la mayoría que he usado las frecuencias medias desaparecen y se batalla mucho para escuchar la guitarra, esto no pasa con los decibullz o al menos en mi experiencia me permite escuchar las frecuencias medias sobre el escenario y abajo como espectador te permiten tener una platica sin problema aún con música fuerte.

These are great. Bought these for going to an NHRA and other racing events. They are comfortable and fairly easy to mold as well. Also work VERY well for the shooting range. Good stuff! Wish they had a set that woudl adapt to IEM connectors. That way you could use them for music as well.
