Tasty.
We just used these Kalamata olives from Greece to make a beautiful Mediterranean dishes and we love the taste and the pungency of them.We even made a salad dressing with them to enhance the flavor. They are fresh and of a good quality and comes soaked in their own brine in the jar.We had to transfer them into 4 mason jars equaling 4 quarts all together to put them in the fridge so they can last longer. We love them as their texture is sublime.

Delicious taste- great value
At home, we Cook "from scratch" and have found the Roland Kalamata's in the large black jug to be very handy. At home, we Cook "from scratch" and have found the Roland Kalamata's in the large black jug to be very handy. I find them a bit salty, so when the jug arrives I usually replace half of the brine with filtered water to reduce the salt content. We use them on everything from salads to homemade pizzas and never any disappointments. If you like Greek olives, this is the way to go as the price winds up to be less than half then if buying in grocery stores size glass jars or cans

Flavorful, Good Value, but Too Salty for Some Uses
These olives are packed well, flavorful, and a great value for the quantity. Prepare to exert some patience when removing the plastic insert you'll find when you first remove the lid. It's difficult to eat many of these olive slices on their own because as others have mentioned, they're far too salty. Some olive producers recommend rinsing their olives before use, but IMO rinsing less-than-whole olives is just gross, and good olive brine adds a lot of extra flavor. I use these almost exclusively as an ingredient in various recipes, so they do work for me; I simply reduce the added salt content of the dish to compensate accordingly. Another reviewer wrote that the slices are "canoe shaped" - They're actually perpendicularly (to the stone) sliced rings. -I've attached a pic for size and shape reference. Like many Roland products, this item came with no obvious production date, best-by date, or expiration date. There is an obscure, coded stick-on label on the side of the container which requires you to do some online sleuthing if you want to figure out what the codes mean. After a few minutes of searching online (the link offered in the product description doesn't work), I found no specific chart online for this exact product; I did find another Roland chart which seemed to properly decipher the production date (6-ish months before purchase) , but I gave up trying to decode two other sets of numbers on the tag. I find this practice by food suppliers annoying at best, shady at worst. I removed one star for the excessive saltiness of the olives which limits their use, and for the iffy shelf-life info of the labeling.

Great taste! Seems to keep well.
These are so good! I love them on salads and an occasional pizza. I do prefer the whole ones, but try to not overly spend on indulgences (which I consider this to be). Less salty than the whole ones. I keep the container in the fridge and it they seem to last a long time (am testing that theory out, as I have gobbled up the previous olives up in no time).

Yummy!
Love them! I use them several times a week making my greek salad and having them sliced without pits is a bonus.

GREAT VALUE!
AWESOME! I eat lots of olives and always chop them. These are amazing time & money Savers! Can't quite figure out the strainer in the jug, though. The empty jug will come in handy!
