only giving this 4 starts because the clip is quite tight so you have to be careful getting it on the bulb, but otherwise a great invention that enabled me to buy a different type of shade (Spider) - as clip on ones for a medium lamp (not chandelier) are hard to find.

Clip-on adapter gave me so many more options for shades. Without them, I'd be restricted to clip-on shades, and the pickin's are slim in that category.

It was the wrong size. This must be for a very small lamp !
