UPDATE : Well that didn’t last long. I’m extremely disappointed in this bulb. 2 months is not a long time. I usually leave the microwave light on 24/7; however, we decided this time … to baby the bulb. Apparently that didn’t matter. This light bulb has blown in 2 months time. Guess that old adage “You get what you pay for” was passed down generations for a reason eh? Looks like I’m out the money since my return window was August 20th (or month after receiving). Stick with name brand if you want a bulb that is made to last for a year. Ugh! The light bulb fit right in our over the stove microwave and all seems well. I’ve only put it in a few days ago. We keep our light on almost 24/7. It took a year for the old one to burn out after keeping it lit continuously (that bulb came with the micro). So we’ll see how this one holds up and compares to the whirlpool one. Microwave is over the stove and light is on the bottom and illuminates the cook top. I’ll update if it burns out anytime soon.but so far …so good. ZERO ⭐️’s
