HDMI Extension Cable

they say all hdmi cables are the same. in theory, they sort of are. if you're running a demanding setup like mine, you need an hdmi cable that can handle the speeds and video output. do your research and see what your TV has specs wise and gaming consoles if you have any. I was having video issues with both my Xbox and Amazon 4k Firestick. I was able to down scale my video output for 1080p to fix the video cutout issues. but what's the point of having a 4k TV if you're not gonna use it? turns out, I had a cheap cable that wasn't strong enough to output 4k, dolby vision and dolby atmos. if it wasn't obvious already, do your research to make sure your hdmi cable matches your particular needs. for me, I needed cables that can output eArc, dolby vision/atmos and 4k. I used this connector and put my Firestick on the other end and viola! I can finally watch content on my Firestick without any cutouts. I bought a higher quality cable from Zenkit as well, plugged it into my Xbox and now my 4k is running the way its supposed to now I have no video cut outs. problem solved! moral of the story. not all hdmi cables are created equal. the quality of these cables and for what it does is an absolute steal for the price. don't buy the overpriced $100+ hdmi cables at best buy.

Needed to move 4K Sony DVD player, which meant either run a new cable inside the wall or install an extension cable. Of course the extension cable was the easiest way to go. Had a two inexpensive HDMI couplers, which worked fine with the Fire Stick, but not when adding an extension cable to DVD player. Even tried several different HDMI cables, none worked, picture and sound would constantly cut in and out. Purchased another extension cable similar to this one and same thing. UPDATE: Now 07/10/2025, need to change my review for this cable. As indicated previously had nothing but issues with it. Put it away and found another way to play DVD player through tv. Made some changes to our home theater system, which meant moving the DVD player and finding a way to keep from purchasing another HDMI cable long enough to reach. Tried this extension cable again with the same results, but had three other HDMI cables running up the wall to the back of the tv. I tried a different HDMI cable attached to this and it worked. I've tested it several times over several months and have not any problems with it. It was from the HDMI cable that worked fine through the home theater receiver. But wouldn't work with this extension. So if you need an extension, don't think twice about buying it!!! Along comes Zeskit Cinema Plus, which once installed worked great, picture and sound were fine, no cutting in and out. Well that was two months ago and now I'm back to, yup, taking the tv down and installing a longer single cable in the wall. While dusting, accidentally bumped the power button on the Sony DVD player. The player is set up so when it turns on, it turns the tv on. No big deal, the Sony's home screen shows up on the tv, so i know it's still working and then the picture went out and then back on. Couldn't believe it, after all I've gone through I can't be right back where I started the end of March. Pulled out a new DVD, inserted into the player and waited. Sure enough, there it is again, picture and sound cutting out, sure it only cuts outs for a split second, but not the way I want to watch a movie. So back to square one and throwing this in the trash. At least the first cable I purchased warned against using it in a length greater than 10', I'm up to 16.5' with this cable installed. And with the other cable, I was able to return it, since it started having issues when I first turned it on. Now less than 2 months in and I'm stuck with this cable, which I will have absolutely no use for now.

I ordered this cable to extend the hdmi cable from the a/v unit to the new tv. The new tvs connections are on the opposite side of the old tv and cables wouldn't reach. Cables run through the wall and couldn't run a new cable. The extender cable is well made and I haven't noticed any degradation of video/audio quality. The only issue is that when connected the existing cable does fully insert into the extender cable. The connection is solid and this hasn't affected the operation. I would recommend this product.

Great cable, only extension I found that actually works for my setup. I have two 30ft hdmi 2.0 cables run through the ceiling and walls in my basement to a “media closet” which has rack mounted avr/Xbox series x, power conditioners etc. I regretfully left about a 1ft shortage of cable which connects to the tv side (lg oled cx). The issues I had with female/female connectors, and many other female/male extensions, were: -green dots, showing degraded signal that is borderline failing. -Failure to do 4k120fps. -Failure on switch to 4k120fps (had to unplug and replug hdmi connection. -no signal at all. I’m happy to say, after trying about 10 different options, this extension worked and has checked every box successfully. No issues at all, and you can tell the instant you see the cable it’s superiority to most offerings. Well shielded, quality connectors, all around a great cable. Will be ordering more, cant recommend enough for someone in a demanding scenario needing that extra 1-2 feet.

Never expected such professional/quality packaging on a product that from other sources is usually just packaged in a plastic bag. I know a high-quality package does not necessarily make a high-quality product, but these HDMI (I've ordered 3 now from this source) cables really look and feel the part. They feel heavy duty and the ends look and feel like a premium piece. Don't know that I would be able to tell any difference in the operation of the cables, but they work as I expect and I feel like I have the best. These are definitely not through away pieces. And with all the quality look and feel they are what I feel are reasonably priced. Thank you for upholding my confidence in still being able to get real quality at a decent price in this day and age!

Have a 4K capable Samsung Smart TV, but the available 4K programming is limited. My Samsung Note 8 phone does 4K so I started using it to mirror movies to the TV. Worked great except the wifi signal occasionally pixelated and ghosted. In steps the "Zeskit HDMI 2.0 Extension Cable Cinema Plus (4K 60Hz HDR Dolby Vision HDCP 2.2)"! The Zeskit adapter appears well built and solid. Once I got everything hooked up and working, no more pixelating and/or ghosting!! TV input info check indicated 4096 x 2160 @ 60p! Excellent!! Only drawback is the phone tethered connection to the TV, but it is worth it to me to not have the lagging, pixelation and/or ghosting while viewing a movie. The Zeskit adapter is an excellent addition if your other devices can use it.

I bought this to go with my Amazon Firestick that was gifted to me, I plugged it into my receiver this allows me access to my firestick easily and the length is perfect I’d definitely recommend purchasing this quality made HDMI extension cable

Using this to extend a cable on my Samsung Odyssey Plus, via a displayport adapter. Seems to work ok using this method (did not work directly to the HDMI port) Good quality cable, for general video signals, your mileage may vary using it with a VR headset, but this is the case with any cable without the use of a repeater. Nice finish and the braided design keeps it from kinking.
