Great Bike Stand for the price!
I bought 2 of these, one for my son's 14" bike and the other for my 26" bike. It fit both of them perfectly. Installation was about 10-15 minutes each and I am the type that does not use a toolbox that much. With the 14" bike, the stand was installed with the shortest slot. The stand is pretty sturdy as it is double layered(because no extension). I would think that a 14" bike would be the smallest bike size for this stand as the bike is slanted just right with the stand out. With the 26" bike, the stand was installed with one slot short from the longest. The stand is still good but you would not want to put any weight on it besides the bike itself. Unlike the 14" bike, the stand is almost fully extended so the stand is a little weak. Another recommendation would be to superglue the rubber protector on the tip of the stand as this will fall off pretty easily. My son almost lost his before I glued it on. Overall, the stand does the job and at this price, it looks good and I am happy. If you cycle on the daily basis I would recommend you to get a more sturdy one for the adult bikes.

Works as Needed!
We purchased this kickstand for a 12-inch children's bike--worked as expected. Easy install and can be adjusted for larger bikes when that time comes. The install was less than 5 minutes and involved one tool. There are a couple of previous comments about this kickstand not working on smaller bikes, but it does... I'll add that the bike stands on its own just fine--albeit a bit more vertical than I would have chosen, but we're at the lowest setting possible. It will definitely take more than a breeze to knock it down--but, a good lesson for the children on "how to position" the bike. And, an observation: This kickstand is stiff--which means that it will not collapse onto itself. However, it also means that your children *may* need help with moving the kickstand up or down until they get used to that motion...

A Solid Kickstand Choice When Your Bike Didn't Come With One
This is a quality product. I added this kickstand to my daughters new Huffy bicycle with 16" wheels. It fit perfectly onto the frame and attached easily to the frame for this bicycle. As bicycle frame's vary in size and shape, this may or may not be as easy for you as it was for me because the kickstand bolt tightens from the top so you have to get at it from that direction. If your bicycle doesn't have a lot of clearance above the frame at that spot you may have some trouble. BUT I would guess that any bike shop would be willing to do it for you if you asked nicely. The kickstand adjusts pretty far up and down so I would see it being good for many bicycle sizes. It is thick and sturdy so it would hold up heavy mountain bikes without a problem. It is a far better kickstand than the ones that usually come standard on big-box store bikes. The rubber tip on the bottom is also a nice touch that will help the longevity of the kickstand. The one ding I would give it is that no matter how tight I try to twist the bolt to get it tightened to the frame it still scoots a little bit over time so that the kickstand needs to be pushed back flush with the frame. Not a big deal but just less than perfect. I wish it could be more snug. This may have to do with the small frame of the kids bike and in your experience with larger bicycles this may not be a problem.

Works well; adjustability is very convenient
Installed this on my 8-year-old daughter's Barbie bike with 18-inch wheels. It's stable and holds the bike very well. The mechanism was very stiff and difficult to deploy. But a squirt of WD-40 or silicone lubricant makes it very manageable. The adjustable height feature makes it easy to find a setting that works well with a particular bike's height. It does seem possible that the adjustment screw could loosen and fall out with use. I put a dab of Permatex Medium Strength Threadlocker on it when I installed it. It's been a month and it's still tight. I'll update the review if the screw proves to be a problem.

Works, but Soft...
So I purchased this kickstand at the end of 2017 apparently, 4 years ago now, and it was straightforward to install and get to length with just one person. Only issue I have now however is the bracket itself that goes from bike to movable parts is not hardened (or hardened enough) and slowly starts to bend outward with weight and use.I only just recently realized this was happening, as I had my father-inlaw service my little old bike for me, and he commented that he adjusted the kickstand length cause it was leaning too much. Well I thought this odd as I knew I had it just right for the balance of my bike as it's a bit top heavy. Well a week later I'm about to take it out, and saw that it was leaning quite heavily, got the screwdriver and went to lengthen the kickstand again but then stopped myself realizing it would be the SECOND time since I first installed it! I then managed to push the kickstand with MY HAND back to the angle it originally started at!Not sure what's going on, but I'm currently deciding to invest in a new kickstand that hopefully will last much longer, I personally need a strong one as my 1972 bike is naturally on the heavy size and I also use it with saddle bags for grocery runs and now that has a huge effect on the poor stand. (The use of saddle bags is post the initial discovery of the soft bracket and was not a factor that started it.)

Works Perfectly
I bought my son an 18" bike and didnt realize it didnt come with a kickstand until I got it home. It had training wheels on it at the store, so I didnt think about a kickstand while we were there. Since he can ride without training wheels, the plan was to remove them after getting it home. Because i dont want him throwing the bike down every time he gets off it I decided to order this. I got it in the mail two days after ordering it and installed it in about 5 minutes. It only required a 14mm wrench to attach it and a Phillips head screwdriver to adjust the length. It looks great and works just as well. For the price, I dont think you can beat it.
