Got this to replace using fybogel, which can work out quite expensive. This product is packaged really well and is easy to close securely afterward. I've been having one tsp at night Ina glass of water which I drink quickly as it swells. It's tasteless and easy to drink. Feels like fybogel and works exactly the same. You can put this in porridge or any cold drinks too. Highly recommend. It's been a great way to stay regular and increase my fibre!

My third purchase from this company as price point remains competitive. I just have one teaspoon sprinkled on my cereal in the morning (weet-bisks) and add lots of milk and it certainly keeps me regular, it just soaks into the milk and is totally tasteless. Just make sure to drink plenty throughout the day. Wish I had known about this years ago instead of horrid docusate that gives me violent stomach ache and other recommended laxatives which mean you daren't leave the house! Not aware of any side effects. Gentle and effective.

This is a world class product and the only brand I use. Forget what others are saying about the taste or consistency. Yes, it has a sawdust like texture and even a slight sawdust like taste (not pungent or worse, like others have described it). If I could place a taste pointer, it would be to say that it’s not unlike what raw grated cauliflower would taste like. In any case, this incredible stuff was highly recommended by a well respected consultant and he was not wrong. It not only works phenomenally well, it’s incredibly good for you in various other health aspects. Question is, do you care to take it regularly. Do you even care for it at all, or do you even need it? You’ll know if you do once you’ve tried it. In terms of consumption, cold fridge water only, stir it up and neck it. Do not use room temperature water, it gets rather too gloopy for most and don’t let it hang around for a minute. Stir and drink! No side affects. Natural pure ingredient.

This is the first time I've purchased the product but I've had Psyllium Husk from another supplier before so had a benchmark for comparison. It's a great price, does exactly what it says it does and while it isn't the nicest thing if you just put it in water, if you mix it with a protein shake or include it in backing it is absolutely fine and you get all the benefits. i'll definitely be buying this again.

I have IBD, used to be on this stuff years ago from my doctor (not this particular brand). Having a major flare-up so bought this. It’s just as good as branded Fibogel, but way cheaper for a LOT more. This will last me months, you only need a tablespoon in water, well stirred. I don’t bother flavouring it (like the other brand is - usually orange), you can if you wish but it’s not an unpleasant taste, just drink it fast (also because it turns to a jelly-like consistency if you don’t - but you can still take it like that!) It works too so a great buy! Happy customer.

The bag has a resealable opening to keep the husk fresh, although sometimes the little pieces of husk get in between, making it hard to seal. I would recommend a different sealing method. Regardless, good product, good price. I am happy with the purchase and super content with the results of adding more fiber to my diet.
