Great military bag for oilfield gear

Very tough. Comfortable and useful. Far better than the bag I recieved and used during OCS. Better strap placements as well. Highly recommend.

The bag becomes soft in the rain. Otherwise, the bag was a reason to miss Christmas with a hero. I hope they're doing well. However the straps ripped on me and it was time to give it up. It's too bad the softening of the fabric could be blamed for that. Otherwise, I just like the usefulness of a 70 gallon bag. Thanks Uncle Sam.

This duffle bag is better than military quality. The canvas, stitching, and hardware is as good as it gets. The size is ideal with options to hand or backpack carry. This bag will last a lifetime whether you are 16 or 66. You will not be disappointed - do not hesitate to buy!

I use this for my laundry bc I’m 5”1’ and stairs are a trip in my house. But I was able to fit 3 weeks of clothes in this bag it’s heavy duty durable and the straps are a great addition I don’t like the fact I can’t close it with a drawstring but that’s minor. Great bag awesome

I bought this in August 2025 and used for 4 times, carrying items weighing no more than 25 pounds. Two days ago January 9, 2026, I went to put some items from shopping weighting about 20 pounds and a rip formed along bottom part of shoulder strap as I was picking up bag to put on shoulder. This seems to be a recurring issue as I have read the reviews of other buyers who had the same experience. Basically, the material is not durable and strong enough to handle stress of 20 pounds or more, beyond a few times of usage. I have a Trader Joe’s plastic shopping bag and used to carry a 25 bag of potting soil multiple times and it held better than this bag and the Trader Joe’s bag cost me $1.07 (with tax included). And, after 4 years of frequent use of Trader Joe’s shopping bag, the bag is still strong.

I just bought this bag for camping gear, so I can only speak from the new owner point of view. But the bag is great. Sturdy, tough. Filled it with as much as I could pack into it and put it on. Shoulder straps comfy. Carried it around by the handle. Stitching is great. This thing is not gonna come apart. Handle, straps, are solid. Reminds me of the same bag I used in ARMY in the 90's. So even if I haven't had my bag out it the dirt yet. I will have this bag for long,long time.

I got this with the intentions of adding D-rings to hold my swords and store all my HEMA Gear. Works great

The product arrived with a strap missing but I contacted the company and they sent a replacement. No hassle on that process The bag is good material and I'm happy with it.
