Excellent. Wish they came in larger size cloths
I love these cloths. I began polishing a few smaller items like copper and silver candlestick, small silver box and then a brass lamp. I found wiping the residue off with Windex at the end really got them to shine. Then I decided to tackle this sturdy brass hall tree that probably had 40yrs of tarnish on it. It took four packs and lots of elbow grease honestly but I’m very pleased with the results. I will say that I wish the cloths came in larger sizes with more durable cloths for larger projects such as these. I realize you can get the tin but I’m unclear about whether that simply includes multiple packs of these or larger wipes so I may need to check them out. I got the best success by brandishing the cloth across like a shoe shine motion. The cloths eventually build up a black streak of oil across the item but they keep working and working even once black. Once finished it all wipes away and gleams like new. Apparently you can laquer items to prevent tarnish but I read that ammonia once a week will maintain it so I feel this was worth the effort. It was previously so tarnished I hid it in a closet and now it’s on full display. I bought two more packs to tackle some other silver items like bowls and trays. For very small items these cloths would last a long time. Even once they turn dark they still do their job as long as they still have polish left on them and the packet seals to keep them moist. Makes a tedious job much easier and takes the guesswork out of it. I will say I wore thin gloves as the smell is not great but not too strong and didn’t give me a headache or anything. But the gloves broke and them smell permeated my hands but rubbing a little salt on them and scrubbing got the smell off. I did take out the trash afterwards as it does fill the room a little but it wasn’t like so bad to have to open a bunch of windows or anything sort of subtle and they add some sort of fragrance.

Exceptional polishing cloths that last for years ...
Years ago I received a tin of these as a gift and was a little surprised that they cost so much. I soon figured out why and was extremely pleased with the result. I have a lot of sterling pieces that just don’t have that luster I like unless I polish them up with these simple, small cloths. FEATURES: ► Size: 4” x 6” ea. ► Unique pre-moistened cleaning cloths deliver an incredible shine that lasts! ► Exclusive anti-tarnish formula with a pleasant vanilla scent! ► Re-closable foil pouch contains two individually wrapped 4” x 6” polishing cloths. No, they aren’t going to remove scratches, but that’s not what they are intended for. I used to use a heavy polish and that took a lot of elbow grease. I decided to get back in to using the Cape Cod polishing cloths. Things really have that extra shine that I’m just not getting with the heavy, messy polishes I’ve used in the past. Think they are only going to last a short period of time before they bite the dust? Think again. I’ve had mine for years and there is a way to boost or extend their life. I simply add a small drop of vegetable oil to a cloth and work it in when I polish. I used gloves when I do my polishing because my hands can get super black. No doubt about it, the Cape Cod polishing cloths are really worth investing in.

Completely renewed oxidized jewelry!!
Bought this a while back to clean up hardware on some saddles I was consigning. Worked fine and I liked the fragrance but where it’s really blown me away today is the way it’s completely renewed my oxidized jewelry! I’ve stopped wearing these earrings due to how dingy they looked, but look at the difference after using a cloth on them! Right is before, left is after. I can’t believe I didn’t use these cloths for this sooner! I’m not a review person, but had to share. If you’re considering these cloths, this is your sign to add to cart

It works! But don't expect perfection
I own a Grand Seiko watch which is known for their perfect polished finishes. When you get a brand new Grand Seiko, the polished faces act as mirrors. The problem is that they start to develop very small scratches very fast which become easy to notice. So, I wanted to see if these polishing pads are good enough to remove these scratches. After receiving these pads, I cut off a couple of rectangles that were about 1 x 3cm. Then I wrapped a piece onto the tip of a cotton swab so that I can easily and accurately rub the polishing cloth onto the faces of the watch. To try to get the best results, I masked the parts of my watch that have a brushed finish because I did not want to affect those. Then I gently rubbed the cloth on the polished parts of the watch. I made sure to do long motions to prevent over polishing just a single spot. This way I can get a more even finish After about 30 minutes of meticulous polishing. It turned out ok. At arms length, it looks perfect. You can even see that there are still pretty clear reflections on the watch. However, under a direct light, you can definitely see tons of micro scratches. The watch will continue to develop microscratches just from wearing it. Even from rubbing the insides of the sleeves of my shirt. So I am not bothered that it didn't create a perfect finish. I'm glad it definitely didn't ruin it. A professional watch maker can still polish my watch and make it look like new again. So, if you are going to use these pads, know that the results will not be perfect. If the scratches you are trying to get rid of are extremely tiny, this will not fix the problem, it will just add more micro scratches. It will get rid of slightly larger scratches. But anything that you can feel with your fingernail will definitely not get removed since it does not remove a lot of material.

Works awesome! Worked great on minor scratches
I found this amazing USA made Orvis alligator belt with a heavily tarnished sterling silver Dine’ belt buckle. 2nd picture was using just standard silver polish. I read the reviews on this and thought I’d give it a try and it really made it look great took away. The minor scratches, which is what I was looking for as I will be selling it. And then I used the same rag on a couple of my sterling pieces and worked wonderful on that too. I do recommend this. The little rag does start to fall apart pretty quickly, so it really is only good for a few uses, but I think it’s definitely worth it and I would buy it again.

These are my favorites
These are excellent. You do need to wear gloves because of of your fingers. Dirty but they clean all your jewelry without stripping off color. They do a beautiful job on silver.

Great for Polishing an Apple Watch!
I bought this for the purpose of polishing out scratches in my Stainless Steel Apple Watch. This worked perfectly. It's important to have realistic expectations, if your watch (or whatever you're polishing) has deep scratches or gouges, it's not going to take them completely out. However, I had some moderate scratches that came right out with a little bit of effort. I imagine if you really spent a lot of time and energy, this could take some pretty serious scratches out. This made my two-year old Apple Watch look good as new. Added bonus, it didn't do anything to the sapphire crystal front screen or back sensor and Inwas pretty liberal with it, so rest easy knowing it won't damage the watch. Two cloths come in a resealable package. Each of the cloths are individually wrapped (not sealed) in thick clear plastic that, after use, can be folded and re-covered to help extend its usable life. The cloths have just the right amount of polish in them, which makes it easy to complete a job as opposed to dealing with squirting compound from a tube or dipping a cloth in a tub. The cloths will discolor, turning black as you use them, but according to the package, it won't affect the overall use of the cloth. The package also says to add spirit mineral oil if they dry out, which should add some more life to each cloth. The cloths have a pleasant scent (odor) to them, which reminds me of vanilla. This may not be for everyone though, but I didn't find it overwhelming or noxious. Personally, I used black rubber gloves to protect my skin from contacting the polish. Not sure if this is necessary, but I figured I'd do it just to be safe. I buffed my watch out using a standard micro-fiber towel, so I don't see any need to purchase anything special if you already have something like that around the house.

Product did the job . . . eventually
I bought these to polish up the sides of a used stainless apple watch that had been well used. I based the purchase on several reviews online that said this was the best option for my needs. While they did finally do the job, I am no convinced that they were any better or worse than alternative products may have done. And they were expensive for what you get. While they did do what I wanted them to do, I don't think I would purchase again based on value for the price paid.

Easy small cost solution.
My Palladium wedding ring had lost its shine. I have had it polished professionally a couple of times but the cost to do so had risen to £65. I thought I would give this a punt and it's fantastic. Whilst it hasn't taken out deeper scratches, it has bought it back up to a gleaming shine which is what I wanted to achieve. The cloths are oily so I would recommend using gloves if you can as other reviews have suggested. I didn't and wasn't a big deal as it washes easily. The bag contained 2 small cloths, I used one 2 do both mine and my wife's rings. Easily stored in the resealable pouch for future use. Size of the cloths are adequate for purpose and easy to use.
