Abro CLEAR RTV Silcone Gasket Maker - Makes Almost Any Gasket Instantly

Take this review with a grain of salt. I’m a little bit of an idiot with repairs. I am unclear what RTV silicone gasket maker is still apparently vs ge silicone. I thought I needed this for a hot tub light gasket. Turned out I made it way more complicated than needed but I did use a little on it. I played with it quite a bit. It really seems like silicone caulk to me. However this is water resistant and high temp, which high temp I thought I needed. Ge silicone is waterproof. I guess depends on what you need. Both seem to home well and be flexible. I did use it to help seal an annoyingly loose seal gasket for a portable water pump. Doesn’t look so good but does stay in place now. It was spraying out from the sides previously at a certain level. It is easier to use than caulk gun I think. Easier without the small pointed tub piece, but that makes it more exact. Still a hard to get perfect Wear gloves. I also recommend having a paper clip andor tooth pick ready so you can clean out and also perfect some fine points. The tub will get full and hard to reuse without cleaning out.

This product was just what I needed when installing my new gas cooktop to the granite countertop. I needed a high temperature sealant and wanted to use a clear RTV product where the rim meets the countertop. Worked very well with easy clean up.

For years, i've used this on all my different projects to avoid drilling holes in my travel trailer. It will withstand over a 100° outside with a little dab.

this stuff is great without all the red or black or gray mess... I use this for non-engine related purposes and like it so much better than the red stuff.. works exactly like the other but cleaner outward appearance.. would recommend for myco related projects..
