Swimming pool is amazing with colir lights !

I have a 40,000 gallon pool completed in December 2016. The pool is all Hayward equipment which includes three Hayward Colorlogic 1.5 inch lights. I have less than 20 hours on the new Hayward lights and in December 2020, all three lights failed. I trouble shot the system and watched all the Hayward youtube videos and concluded the led lights failed. I spoke with the Hayward Technical advisor, who said the led lights should give approximately more than 1000 hours of life. I explained my dissatisfaction with the low life of their product and he indicated there was only a one year warranty and nothing more he could do, not even a discount on three new lights.I found these online and the price is a fraction of the Hayward lights. When I received the lights, I used epoxy glue to mount a grey pvc threaded conduit adapter the the back of the new fixture. I cut the section of the adapter which fits into the conduit off leaving only the threaded portion. I fed the fixture cable thru the adapter and sealed it up with epoxy caulk. I made watertight electrical connections to the existing cable, screwed the new fixture to the existing 1.5” conduit and replaced the Hayward colorlogic controller with a new single pole switch. Everything worked perfectly and now I have a handheld remote control to operated the lights and color patterns. I went ahead and purchased a few spare fixtures and saved myself more than $1,000. From not having to purchase the poor and unreliable Hayward LED lights.

This light was fairly simple to install and fit perfectly in the pool light enclosure. It does not come with a long cord so I had to connect with the existing cord and seal it with marine grade liquid plastic. As added protection I sealed the cord connection with Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape. I had to use at least a 12 Volt 60 Watt transformer for the 25 Watt light to work with the remote properly. Please note that the higher wattage lights will require a higher wattage transformer. The remote only works if I am very close and standing right over the pool light, so it has a very poor signal range. My main concern is that there is no way to contact the seller for product info or warranty support. If you go on the Amazon site for seller contact, it takes you nowhere. Internet search for Eapmic also came out empty so I am expecting that this will be a non-warranted item. Bottom line: Buy at your own risk! I gave this 2 stars because you get what you pay for.

We installed the light about a month later after receipt of the order because of the construction process of the pool. I wanted to be positive after reading some reviews, but the light just didn't worked, it stays in green mode light and very weak, the remote does not send any signal to the light. The light was installed by a certified electrician, I am very disappointed since the pool is already filled up. I don't even think I can get a replacement since time has passed.

I bought this lamp over 6 months ago and it has had no faults. I can manage the color from the switch without having to rely on the remote. However, the remote control does not have a good range, it requires being too close to make changes to the lights. I would also like to be able to program new sequences to my liking and this is not possible. For the rest, the lighting of the lamp in my pool looks great, its power is perfect. I tried to buy it again without success, there was none. I had to buy a similar one that I hope will turn out as good as this one.

HiOne lamp no switch on. The other goes on changing its colors and the remote control can't stop it. I took the second remote control. Same result.How can I do ? Please tell me how I con resolve this.Living in Dominican Republic, I would avoid to return back these lamps
