Bloxygen works GREAT
This is a great product that I have been using for years. I spread it in my cans of paint and varnish and it keeps them from skimming over or going bad. It also works great in my home deep fryer to keep the oil from going rancid. I just sprayed it over the oil or in the paint can before putting the cover on. This stuff works great. It keeps me from having to drain them and wash my deep fryer after every use I would suggest getting a couple of cans because the only downside of this product is you canโt tell when youโre about to run out. The can feels empty whether itโs full of product or not.๐

Highly recommend, works great.
Excellent product. Saves your paint and wood finishes from skinning over. Definitely worth the investment.

Paint preservative
Iโve used Bioxygen for several years. It works very well at keeping oil based coatings and latex paints from skimming over or hardening in the can. You have to make sure that the lid is tight and sealed for it to be effective. I sometimes use Vaseline on the seal to help keep the air out and the Bloxygen in. I have latex paint that is 7 years old and still good to use after adding some water and stirring well. The color matches perfectly.

Pretty Good
This stuff is not perfect, but it definely helps. I use a gallon of high quality spar varnish for teak on my boat each year. Cheaper varnishes don't skim up. Good varnish does. I have opened and closed the gallon can at least six times this past month or two. The first couple of times, there was no skim. I kept the can open briefly, poured a small amount, then with the cover pretty much closed, I sprayed the product in. Then I closed the can and tapped the top shut. Once in the process, there was a fair amount of skim, but most of the time, there was no skim. This is worth a shot. I will use it again.

Save your gel stains and poly!
This is a great product from a small business. I use this with all of my gel stains and oil based products to prevent spoiling and drying out. Just a few seconds preserves the can and product. Highly recommend for a DIY or professional that doesn't wanna waste product.

Don't be concerned the can feels empty when you get it
Is canned inert argon gas and works great to block air from contacting liquid contents of polyurethane, etc. Don't be concerned when you get it that the canister is so light it must be empty- the canister is very lightweight aluminum and the gas is virtually weightless so it just feels empty.

It works Does not contain 75 uses.
A bit unnerving when I took the can out of the shipping box and it is light. It does not slosh around like a paint rattle can. It's a gas. Now this stuff does preserve finishes in the can. I use a lot of Min-Wax polyurethanes and hate it when a $28 can skins over after a few uses or thickens to the point it like spreading honey. The can sys it gives 75 uses. The directions tell us to spray a 2 second burst into the can and then quickly slide the lid over. That is exactly what we did. We got about 14 uses out of the can. Well maybe we got a bad can or something. I'll try it again, if we only get a dozen uses that will be the last we purchase this product.

A Super-Helpful Solution
Have been using Bloxygen for well over a year; product works exactly as described. Saving a lot of money on wood finishes -- really does prevent partially used finishing products from curing in the can.
