Bought this to run around our backyard garden to keep our heard of dogs out of it. We have the green metal universal U posts surrounding the garden and it measured about 52 inches all the way around. I have used the heavy plastic green garden mesh before and although it worked well enough it did stretch and snap at times and I was not a fan of the green highly visible color. This netting was more than enough for the space I needed and have enough left over for either next year or even if I had to make a repair. It was easy to just unroll as I walked the perimeter of the garden and unfolded just as easily. Because it is black, one of my bigger dogs did not see it originally and ran into it but it did not rip, it just popped off the U post as I was setting it up, so no big deal. Ding dong ran into it one other time and because at this point, I had properly finished securing it with the zip ties to the U posts and ground hooks, he bounced right back off it no harm no foul. To me it is way more aesthetically pleasing looking out my window and seeing the garden instead of a bunch of plastic green fencing. A recommendation that if you have to throw some of it away for any reason, try to cut it up a lot before you do so no animals who may be rummaging through the trash get caught in it. It is really quite durable, and some creatures would for sure have a rough time getting out of that pickle. I would absolutely recommend this product and yes, it is up in these pictures, you just can't see it and I like that.

I was under the impression the net would come with some sort of fence or stakes to keep it up. It does not, I ended up finding some posts to wrap around. It works great though, it has protected my tomato plants really well.

Works better than expected. The poles I hung this from are only 5 ft tall so I was afraid deer would easily jump over it but it has been up for 2 nights now and my roses have remained unmolested by the deer. Wish I had tried this years ago because it’s much easier and cheaper than putting cages around each of my 14 roses. As others have mentioned, small animals get caught in it so I have to patrol every morning to free them. The first morning it was up I had to cut a little wren free from it. It looks much better than my old cages because it’s invisible from ~20+ feet.

This works great for protecting my chicken runs from hawk predators. I also use it on my raised garden beds. But now I have to switch products. Last year, I had a chipmunk get tangled in the netting, it died. I also had a rat get stuck, luckily we were able to release it but it had a broken leg. Now today I had a robin get tangled in the netting and die. So I'm going to switch to a finer netting product that can't easily trap an animal. Yes it works but unfortunately after all these casualties I have to switch products. The holes in this product are too big and can easily get animals tangled up. I'm going to find something more of a net material with no holes to get stuck in.

I have to use netting to keep the birds away from my tomatoes and berries. I roll it up on a stick at the end of the growing season and reuse it a second year. The only complaint is that it is hard to see when I try to cut pieces of it. The mesh is a very small gauge.

This product was exactly what we had been looking for for over a year. We have a very large Orchard and garden and after I built a new fence to keep deer out, the deer just figured out a way to go through the fencing I had built. Adding this item to the fencing completely solved our deer problem. Very easy to install and quite rugged.
