How noisey is it whilst blending?

It’s pretty noisy but not excessively so in my opinion. It’s a powerful motor so that makes it a bit noisy but the pay back is a quick, smooth blend….

Does the jug twist and lock or just sit on the top

It doesn't really twist and lock. It settles snug in place. Hope this is helpful.
