I'm a beginner serger! Love it!
I have sewn all my life (I'm 62 and my grandmother taught me to make a skirt for my dolls when I was still sitting on her lap) but have never owned a serger. I bought an old used Bernina for $40 a few months ago - and although I know it's a good company, it was very difficult to thread and to troubleshoot. I was frustrated every time I attempted to use it. I finally did some research and looked for a basic beginner level serger. I chose this model. It was deliver two days after I ordered it (!) and after a short set-up, I was up and serging! Such a great machine. Solid, easy to use, beautiful stitches. I really didn't realize how much I'd enjoy the rolled hem capability, but it's just been amazing. Rolled hem is achieved by sliding a switch and quick adjustment on stich length! I've been making dress-up clothing for my granddaughter - princess dresses and such - and the ease of using this machine has been just a joy. Can't believe I waited so long to get a good serger - but I do believe this IS a GOOD serger!

Out of the Box Ready, Easy Threading
For the last five years, I have become a Juki-girl. I have purchased two sewing machines for travel and at home. I have started making facial masks to help combat the corona virus-19. I thought to have a serger will increase speed and neatness. So far Juki product has not disappointed. For the price and simplicity, I chose the MO-623. Great choice, out of the box ready, works like a workhorse, beautiful even stitches, cuts easily and straight. A winner all around. The best feature is that it is the quickest and easiest serger to thread. I am able to reach every area with just my fingers, no need for special tooling. I love it.

EASY TO THREAD-WELL BUILT
Just got my Juki and I love it. I'm a Viking user and looked at Husqavana overlock machines. For the value of this Juki, ease in threading it and overall use, I am SOLD on it. I was hesitant when I purchased because I have never heard of Juki. I'm very impressed with it. It's a heavy built machine and not cheap lightweight plastic. It was the perfect price point for me. I do a lot of rug hooking and always stitch around the edge of my backing fabric to keep it from raveling. So it was a nice addition to my studio to be able to offer special sized cuts to my customers and students. I'm very pleased with the way it preforms and highly recommend this item.

Juki Builds Jewels
I have 30+ years of being a seamstress. I love this Serger. I'm new to the Juki world of serger machines and am honored to be in their world;(where have I been..lol). The machine is easy to thread and extremely durable. Love the features; especially how you can open the left side of the machine to thread, make machine adjustments etc. This design is very clever. The machine sews very quietly and serging results are beautiful. I purchased two Juki Sergers; 3 and 4 thread machines and love them both. I've owned both Singer and Brother sergers but Juki Brands in my opinion are the Best. Thank you Juki and keep building awesome machines.

It was used.
Machine works perfectly fine. The only problem I have is they send me used machine when I paid for brand new machine not for used machine as you can see from the pictures. when machine came it has oil all over it and inside this is what I found. Which tells clearly it was used machine not new.

Juki 1-Needle, 3-Thread Overlock Machine
The Juki name is standard to the sewing industry. This machine is absolutely wonderful. Threaded and ready to use, right from the box. Simple rethreading makes changing colors a breeze. Extremely simple to use and quite durable.

Good value, but unreliable
You get what you pay for of course, but this machine seems to constantly drop/lose it's thread in the needle mechanism. My wife is constantly having to re-thread it after only a few inches of a seam. I'm probably going to look for a nicer brand but second hand.
