Yarniss 20 Size Crochet Hooks 0.5mm-10mm,Ergonomic Hook for Arthritic Hand

I’ve been using these hooks for a decently long while now, and they still hold up pretty well! The case they come with is very easy to just throw in a bag with your current project and be on your way. The handles on the hooks are great. They are easy to hold, and come in pretty colors. If you are a beginner, i think this is honest the perfect set to get started with, since you get a lot of the things you need all in one purchase for a good price.

I bought this after doing 2 woobles kits and I love it! I mainly knit and relatively new to crochet but I really enjoy how these hooks feel and fit in my hand. The fact that it comes with a little carrier is a huge plus because I want my fiber tools to be well organized. I won't speak for people who have crocheted for years but if you're getting started or just don't have a huge preference, I think these are great! The metal hook means the yarn slides off really well. I plan to use these for a long time and am very happy with my purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised by these! B 2.0mm to N 10mm hooks. I do not use all of these sizes, but the price for the entire set was worth it. At the time I purchased this set there was only a three dollar difference between the 5 piece set and the 14 piece set. So for me the full set was a better value as all the hooks I wanted were in the larger set, but not the smaller one. It also came with thread snip/scissors, stitch markers and a case of metal tapestry needles and a very streamlined/narrow case easily fits into a purse or project bag! Now I am an inline crochet hook person (Susan Bates is my go-to) but these are not terrible to work with. I do have some nerve damage in my hands that makes crocheting for extended periods an issue. I make a lot of blankets and my hand was cramping so I wanted to try an ergonomic hook. I watched a number of YouTube videos and several mentioned this brand. Even though these are tapered, they're not as bulbous as most tapered ones and the yarn didn't slip off these for me. See pics for comparison, but this is a pretty comparable width to my favorite brand hooks and I will use these when I want to work on a larger project. They're pretty smooth and there's very little bend/flex to the hook. The hook shaft goes down to nearly the end of the rubber/silicone end and it doesn't slide in the hand. The hook sizes are marked. I'm not sure what the material is but it doesn't smell and it's not overly tacky so I don't think it's some terrible chemical or anything. Overall I like these and for the price they're decent hooks. I can see myself using these as often as my Bates ones. I tried some of the more expensive ones because the comfort is more important than anything and I was willing to buy my favorite size hooks but when I tested those I found them uncomfortable. You need to figure out what works best for you and that's different for everyone depending on how you work, hold, grip, etc. If you're wondering about these or curious this set it worth the money!

I bought this for a specific project with the intent to crochet as a continuous hobby. I love this set and love that it was affordable! It has a little bit of everything to help you start. The ranges in hook sizes allows me to experiment with different types of yarn. The actual design of the hook makes it easy to work with the material as well.

What's good is great. I vasilated about how to rate these. I only needed a 1.5mm (left mine behind on a trip). I also wanted to replace my old steel hooks (both Boye and Bates) with ergonomic types. Individual hooks of high quality and reputation tend to be expensive so thought I'd take a chance on this set. 40+ years crochet experience. Most of the hooks are great. 11 hooks from E-3.5mm to N-10mm. All smooth, yarn glides nicely. Handles comfortable, well marked with both black "printed" on one side and recessed unpainted on the other. The remaining ten hooks, .5mm through 2.75 are mostly good, but a couple have mfg defects. Fortunately, the 1.5 I was after is perfect. The 1.0mm hook has a rough area in the hook, might be able to smooth out. The 1.25 mm has a malformed hook area that renders it useless. These aren't sizes I typically use, so this isn't a problem for me. The markings on the ten smaller hooks are only the recessed type and a bit difficult to see. I've used a fine tip pen to make them easier to read. The case is decent enough, with elastic loops to hold each hook in its place, and a netted section that helps hold the hooks in place. It zips closed and I'll likely use it, although I hadn't originally planned to. Comes with a good pair of snipping scissors that I like and fits into case. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Great price, mostly good hooks. But they fall down on the smaller hooks' quality control. I'll guess it's hit and miss as to which and how many hooks are good in other sets. But if you're looking for 3.5 and larger hooks, you'll likely have good luck. Again, the price on these for the quality of the good (and numerous) hooks is excellent.

I have been using this set for a year and a half now, and they are excellent. I crochet a lot, so these have gotten quite the workout. They glide smoothly and haven't developed a problem with sticking like several I've used in the past. The only minor complaint I have is that the grip slides slowly off the ones I use most heavily. The printed number also wears off eventually, but again, I am using them heavily, and I LOVE that they have the number debossed on the other side so it will not wear off.

I ordered this set because it was cheaper than buying the 3 sizes of hooks I was missing that I needed for a project. I didn't expect much for the price, but I was surprised how much I ended up liking them. They're really comfortable to crochet with for long periods of time and they don't snag or split the yarn. One thing I liked about them is the size in mm is stamped into the grip in case the printed label wears off. This would also be a great set for a beginner because it has every size you'll probably need for a while. It also has some stitch markers and yarn needles included. I didn't really need those because I have a lot, but I will probably use them eventually, since those things tend to go missing sometimes It came with a case, which is adequate. I ended up offloading some of my less favorite hooks into it and I put these new ones into a stand I have, and the case held a lot of stuff. I have several different name brand hooks in different sizes, but I've been reaching for these over the others most of the time. I'm not sure how long they'll hold up, but so far the set seems to be a great value for the price.

This set of Yarniss crochet hooks costs far less than the complete set of Clover brand hooks! That's why I took a chance on it even though it had a little lower rating. Yarniss hooks are good! The only thing "better" about Clover is that their hook handles feel slightly more rubbery and grippy, but the Yarniss handles are perfectly fine. There's nothing wrong with Yarniss crochet hooks as far as I can tell. And the set also includes needles, a scissor, and a bag. The bag is a bit too girly for me (since I'm a guy) but no big deal. Also I think Yarniss crochet hooks are better than Clover in one way: the metal hooks and the rubbery handles are both longer than the Clover ones. I really like this since I have XL size hands and I thought the clover hook I bought is like it was made for small hands, like for a child or a girl. Also I didn't like how short the metal hook is on the Clover 5.5mm crochet hook. I mean it's useable but mentally I don't like it to be just barely long enough like that. I'm glad I bought this Yarniss set so I can just use any size yarn I like without continuing to pay more and more for Clover hooks. This set cost just a little more than a single Clover brand hook.

I bought this set because all the lace sets I’ve found were hard plastic and these are silicone. Very comfortable. The size is embossed on each hook and also stamped. It’s a complete set and has nice accessories. The case is denim and the hook elastics are very tight. Complete travel set.

Loved these little tools and the cute little zippered pouch containing all tools in a ziplock bag. Tools are clearly labelled, smooth and comfortable to use.
