I read a lot of reviews as I wondered the same.There appeared to be problems with non next base cards.l decided to purchase a card by next base and have had no problems with recording and poor pictures. Hope this helps

Why does only ask longest time 5 minutes?

Are u asking why dose it last only 5 minutes. It must be faulty. I have no problems .it could be recording for days before I usually go into setting to clear the videos from the card..
