Theres a reason why the NHS uses this stuff in their dressings. Manuka has very special properties, good for applying on eczema, acne and many other bacterial or fungal conditions, for it to work effectively you should keep it on ideally for an hour. You can consume it to aid your immune system against bacterial/viral infections like colds, especially with some ginger, lemon and black seed oil. It might be expensive, but health comes at a cost. Also from my personal experience over years, UMF 10+ works absolutely just fine. I've never bought those ultra high umf levels, I personally dont think its worth it for their astronomically higher prices compared to their performance, you're better off buying more UMF 10+ honey.

At first taste is strange as it is not like other refined honey. But really nice when you get used to it.

It is darker than the picture and not a solid honey.

This honey is cold pressed, unpasteurised, any visual analysis can verify that it looks earthier, richer, more viscous and the consistency looks right. It is not a clear transparent honey nor a mixt of corn syrups and honey blend, this is the real deal! If the separation process stated by the manufacturer is correct, this separates only the wax and what remains is pure natural honey that may contain small pollen bits as well and some tiny minuscule wax bits(remember this is cold pressed not hot pressed). This honey is considered UMF 10+ and has an MGO rating of 263+ which are both an indicator of quality. Terminology: UMF=Unique Manuka Factor, where the UMF rating reflects the concentration of MGO. To be considered potent enough to be therapeutic, manuka honey needs a minimum rating of 10 UMF. MGO=Methylglyoxal is organic with the formula CH₃CCHO. It is a reduced derivative of pyruvic acid. It is a reactive compound that is implicated in the biology of diabetes. This is considered as a healthy alternative for people with diabetes. Studies show that the ideal potency for good health maintenance is between UMF 10 and 18, as some cases have been reported where after consumption of Manuka honey with an UMF 20+ increased sensitivity was confirmed as a side effect. I have started with UMF10+ and am climbing gradually to UMF18+ in order to asses efficiency and possitive effects in consumption.Updates will be added periodically. My missus uses this honey in her face masks and I will share with you, my homemade immune booster recipe: -480 ml almond milk, -1 teaspoon organic turmeric, -1- 2 tablespoons Manuka honey UMF >10+, -Sprinkle some grinded cinnamon, -Lemon zest of 1 lemon, -Add cardamom if acceptable and voila!The flavour and taste is out of this world! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miele di ottima qualità, dal sapore intenso e caratteristico. La consistenza è piacevole e si percepisce che si tratta di un prodotto ben fatto. Lo utilizzo sia da solo che nelle bevande calde e ne sono molto soddisfatto. L'unico aspetto migliorabile è il prezzo, che è piuttosto elevato. Se costasse un po' meno sarebbe davvero perfetto. Nonostante questo, per la qualità del prodotto merita comunque cinque stelle.

Miel qui a un coût, mais j'avais envie de goûter un miel "certifié", et j'avoue que je suis tout à fait ravie de ce produit. A acheter une fois au moins pour le plaisir du produit ! Bon goût, bonne texture. Je m'en suis servi aussi comme "médicament" pour mes maux de gorge. Efficace aussi !

Ich habe jetzt mehrere MGO Sorten von diesem Hersteller gekauft und finde das Produkt sehr gut. Um es weiter nach zukaufen habe ich ein Abo gemacht das mich mit diesem Honig versorgt. Ich finde die Familie Steens sehr vertrauenswürdig. Vor allem machen sie sehr gute Angebote. Die anderen Hersteller haben meist sehr überzogene Preise, die ich für Abzocke halte. Ich kann den Honig mit guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
