My wife and I have purchased a few different pocket breathalyzers. We keep them in our vehicles. We won't drive if we feel buzzed at all, but sometimes we feel fine but the breathalyzer says we're not (or we're right at the limit). At this price there's no reason not to own one. This version is much faster than the original model, which is nice since we usually both check our levels when this gets used.

this is very accurate BAC m,eter and doesn't easily give false readings. i use it plot the elimination curve after consuming 2 cocktails. I did a genetic test for ADH1B, ADH1C, and CYP2E1 genes that enable metabolic enzymes. Adding molybdenum seems to increase the elimination rate. shorter time under curve.

I bought this breathalyzer thinking it would just be a “nice to have” thing… but it probably saved me from making a really bad decision this weekend. I felt completely fine to drive. Like genuinely normal. Out of curiosity I tested myself before leaving and my BAC was WAY higher than I would’ve guessed based on how I felt physically. It completely changed my plans and stopped me from driving home. That alone made it worth every penny. It’s honestly kind of scary how confident you can feel while still being over the limit. I’ll never rely on “feeling okay” again after seeing the numbers for myself. Super easy to use, quick results, and now I think everyone should own one.

Took it out of the package and didn’t work. At all. I tried different batteries from those that were included and still didn’t work. I’m so bummed that I spent the money on a “better” breathalyzer and it didn’t even work once.

I wanted to see about testing my BAC if I ever needed to do so. This device seems to be accurate. I tested myself during different drinking episodes. My wife, who didn't drink, would always register a 0.000. While I was drinking, I would register appropriate increases with each drink. It is true that if you drink alcohol, you must wait at least 10-20 minutes to get an accurate BAC reading, but I'm guessing it doesn't always mean that what you last drank has been absorbed and circulated in your blood stream. Anyhow, the readings increased with each drink. The opposite, but appropriate readings were scored through the night. With every few hours, my alcohol levels were decreasing and my 7 am reading was all zeros. Anyhow, the readings seemed appropriate, and they also correlated with what type of buzz or disorientation I was feeling at the time. To note..... the device will wait almost a minute to provide another reading, when the last reading was really high... like BAC of 0.46 (which was registered right after taking a whiskey shot). So it waited about 50 seconds to let you take another reading. Seems appropriate though, because such a high reading might require a bit of time to let the device dry out and maybe reset? Anyhow, I like it. It seems accurate and useful.

I drive for a living and have found this upgraded product from the small square ones better made and more reliable in measurements. Can’t say how much I always have in my blood but no false positives (0.00) and reasonable if not perfect readings when coming home from dinner or heading to the corner store. Absolutely love the confidence of knowing when is too much (even if you can’t use these - or any consumer product like them - in court). PSA on the last bit :)

Funziona bene e le misurazioni sono sovrapponibili nel breve tempo. La conversione da BAC in grammi per litro di sangue (parametro valutato per la legge italiana) si fa semplicemente moltiplicando X10 il valore ottenuto, ad esempio se il valore BAC è 0,05 in grammi/litro sarà 0,5 , valore limite per la legge in Italia. Spero solo che i valori rilevati siano precisi. Questa sera ho bevuto vino in libertà a tavola e a fine pasto un super alcolico da 40 gradi . Dopo 20 minuti circa il tasso alcolemico rilevato più volte era 0,35 gr/l. Spero fosse giusto! ( non dovevo comunque guidare io).

Me gusta que es 100% efectivo, aunque hay que agarrarle el modo; soplar en el momento indicado y esperar a que suenen dos pequeños clicks. Lo recomiendo.

This arrived well packaged in a branded cardboard box. It is compact and well designed. Set up is simple and easy. Just follow the instructions and leave at least 20 minutes before testing. I found that the results were very consistent. Handy little gadget. High price point but that is reflected in the quality, design and accuracy of the product.

I had a previous version since the early 2000. It was bulky, slow to set up and not as accurate. It eventually stopped working about 2 years ago. I purchase the key chain version but after 2 or 3 tries, I threw it in the garbage since it was not working at all. A friend had this unit and it was working very well. So I bought one. This unit is so small that it fit in a pocket. It provide very constant results, accuracy is excellent. I need my car for my work and a few times I was too close to the limit. With this device I can take an hour or more to return to an acceptable driving. Excellent I recommend it.

Works well. Like the LED readout showing how much power is left. Takes both USB sizes
