Totally works…couldn’t believe what came out. Dropped my drying time On low to medium temps by and easy 15 minutes. My trap has a lot of lint after each use, so My assumption was it got the bulk cleaned out and trashed….wrong…it only catches the initial the rest follows the way to the outside, but never quite makes it…thus the build up. It’s fairly easy to use…however my first time I emptied my Shark 4 times… After that I suggest using monthly. If my setting takes too much over set time I now check because this vent cleaner really works.

It works great. i thought I was getting a flat one but this is round. It has a very small opening and gets clogged easily with lint, but is easy to pull out, remove lint and put back into the area being cleaned. Just adds a lot of time.

this was a great set. It included an adapter for my vacuum which actually fit on my dust buster type vac as the opening is flexible and my dustbuster has an oblong end. It was easier to use than my upright vac but I'm sure it would work with that too. I think my dustbuster is a little weaker so maybe that is why some lint got stuck, but it was not hard to get it out and I can not believe how much I got out. I did not find the metal thing helpful. The tube itself is flexible but firm enough that I think using that metal would have been worse. I did like the brush that was included. I first just used the tube and got a lot and then I used the brush and it loosened up a bunch more and then I was able to vacuum that too. I also was able to put the flexible tube under my washer and dryer. I can't believe this thing was so great. I had gotten one previously which was too wide to fit where it needed to go. This one is like a half inch wide maybe a tiny bit more and it fit down easily into the opening with room to move it around. I think it was about the right length too. If I pulled out my dryer I could prob clean it more from the other side. I may do that at some point. Anyway this thing is great. I think I only paid like $7-8 for it and it was worth that and more. It also does not take a lot of room to store. I can hang it in my laundry room closet so it's handy for when I need to use it again.

Mixed results. I wanted to use this to clean the dryer vent pathway on my LG TROMM electric dryer. When the dryer's filter screen is removed, the cavity is much too small for my household vacuum, and none of the attachments I have are long enough to reach down to the bottom of the vent below the filter. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my hopes, though it is good at the basics. PRO: MUCH better than my household vacuum attachments. This is just the right size to clean the area below where the removable filter screen sits. I am constantly getting lint buildup in there. This tool does an excellent job of cleaning that part of the airpath. Another pro: the build quality is good for the price, except for the wire handle. The rubber adapter is very sturdy, and the small diameter hose part is also of good quality. CON: The next stage is the problem. The dryer's vent makes a 90 degree turn towards the back, and I want to be able to clean in there. I hoped that this flexible tube and bendable wire control rod would let me make that turn. Unfortunately, this tool's wire handle is flimsy and very difficult to control. I cannot get it to make the turn from the front area where the removable filter is into the next stage of the vent path that I cannot see into, and where I suspect I may have additional lint buildup that is causing dryer issues. Summary: It does part of the job very well, and part of the job not at all. If you just need to be able to reach down a little further than your regular vacuum tools permit, this may be just the thing. If you're hoping to be able to reach further than that, I don't think this too will help.

Purchased this dryer lint cleaning tool to, well, clear my dryer of lint! What I love about this tool is the versatile opening for the vacuum hose. The design makes it universal and fits snug on the hose. I was surprised at how much lint I cleared out of my dryer. Extra nice: this tool can be used to clear dust buildup from under your refrigerator!! Given the high price of electricity, I now know my usage will be reduced. A fully functional appliance = less time to do a great job. Highly recommend!

This is so simple and yet so clever. I thought my dryer was clean just from using the regular vacuum attachments, but I was (pleasantly?) surprised to discover how much I was missing with this tool. The “check vent” light came on my dryer and I couldn’t figure out how so I got this to do a deeper cleaning. I feel better knowing I have lowered my risk of fire by getting the hidden lint. It also works great for those tight spots between an appliance and the wall or underneath an appliance; basically anywhere your regular vacuum can’t reach, even the typical crevice tool. It is flexible to get in curvy spots, but the downside is it is hard to direct so I just end up wiggling it around to try and cover an area, such as under the fridge.

This does work. I got lint out of the deeper parts of the lint trap than I have before. The brush will loosen the lint and the vacuum attachment will suck it up. I'm only giving it 4 start because it restricts the flow of the vacuum enough that my handheld Dyson shuts off after a few seconds of use. If it had vent holes in it I probably wouldn't have this issue. It does work but I had to get out the large vacuum and wasn't able to use the portable battery powered one.

Hose is small enough to fit in tight space. Has good suction.

This was a terrible product. Feel apart (pipe tore when it connected to the attachment) in under two years. Was only used twice a year. Would avoid and find a more robust product.

I had doubts but I have to say this thing works amazing. Dryer vent slot was plugged, put this On vacuum and with the guide wire ith slot was cleaned out within a couple minutes. 10/10

Did exactly what it needed to do. Sucked all the stuff stuck in the dryer. Everyone needs this!
